  • I hate credit companies. I was on the next website looking for some stuff I'd like for my birthday and just thought 'i wonder if my account is still open'? If you remember, I said a couple of weeks ago I'd closed it as it had a £3600 limit!! Well, it still has the £3600 credit limit! I was really really annoyed, as I think it's very wrong for it to still be open even though I've requested to close it. I've now reduced it to just £100 so I've got it if i happen to need anything, but can't go too mad using it. I HATE HATE HATE them!!

Are you in a trade union?

No, there's no union rep at work and I don't know how they work if you don't have a rep at work.

I was offered another job today, not sure about it though!! I don't know if it would class as being self employed so I don't know if I should go for it. Going to look into a bit further though.

you don't have to have a workplace rep. I've been in the same union for years and pay by DD, they were not a recognised union in my last place so no rep, but when I needed them, rang them up and have to say they were brilliant. They just assigned someone from the branch to help me. In a way it was better as they were full time.

Good luck looking into the other job. My last few part time jobs were classed as self employed, even though I only worked for the one company and had no control over my hours, but it worked out OK.

... and back again with PAD.

Still waiting for the cheque to pay off Provi to clear, so Pad to the various pots of £1.25 please.

Does anyone understand income tax? I've had 2 weeks on a BR tax code, and now this week have got a proper 647 tax code and what looks like a tax rebate (?) as my net earnings are more than my gross (if that makes sense)

HUGS to all those who need them.

Trying to reply but DS keeps attacking the keyboard, away to put the kids to bed so will repy when I get back!

ETA - My little angels are in bed and happy so I can reply properly.

The job I was offered was to take over the fat club class *EMBARESSED* in my town and the one a few miles away. I know it doesn't sound like much but I'd be getting more money for doing one day of 'work' (about 7.5 hours including travelling & time to set up and half an hour or so of paper work/ordering stock) than I'm getting for doing 16hrs just now and the perks seem quite good too.

It just sounds so ridiculous when I say it out loud...what do you do for a living? Well, I run a fat club class...see, it sounds daft!
