  • ... and back again with PAD.

Still waiting for the cheque to pay off Provi to clear, so Pad to the various pots of £1.25 please.

Does anyone understand income tax? I've had 2 weeks on a BR tax code, and now this week have got a proper 647 tax code and what looks like a tax rebate (?) as my net earnings are more than my gross (if that makes sense)

HUGS to all those who need them.

Yes that tax situation sounds quite possible. On BR code, assuming you normally pay tax at the rate most people do, you would have been paying about £25 a week too much - assuming no other complications. Just an approximation with the numbers.

    Evening All

An extra payment to Next for me today (I don't count my min payments as PADs). So £8.94 please Sashy. :T Quite pleased with myself today, another NSD  and took homemade soup to work for lunch which I shared with my colleague - YUM!!:D

Angelic - I say if yu are really unhappy in your present jb and you can earn more doing less hours as a Fat Club lady you should go for it - nothing ventured nothing gained. We are going through a restructure at work and I don't like what I have been offered so am going for a completely different role on less hours and less money but it will suit me and the family better and OH has got a part-time job to pick up the slack. GOOD LUCK XX

Thanks 321, I guess I'm just a bit nervous at not knowing I won't have a properly secured income.

  • Hi Angelic. Really sorry your work situ's so unpleasant & it's a really good idea to keep a diary. I would have thought the new job's a good risk as you're so p****d off with this one  I'm self employed as a freelance musician & teacher and the teaching part is regular & pretty risk free-similar to being contracted. Presumably that's how the fat club would work. Think of the money & more time too :D

Hi psycho, sorry about your cc stresses! Paul's right though...Halifax raised my limit by 1k, then lowered it 1k & then wrote to me with BT offer, when I said there was no space they immediately raised the limit by £1500!!? This was all in 3-4 months!! You'll never know :D

Pleased everything's getting sorted silaqui :) & sorry about your horrid time Sarah. Seems like most people having horrid time at the moment :(
Hope all improves v soon :j

For what it's worth Mary I think it's a good idea - it can't be any worse than the job that you have at the moment, which seems to be getting you down all the time, so why not?

Also there is that TV show about how to run a fat club - with this lady :D
