Morning All
Glad you sent off the complaint Elsie, they are the pits. Nanna, sorry you had sick in a pepper, new heights of nouvelle cuisine???? DD is a veggy so I very often offer up sick in a pepper, an aubergine, mushrooms or anything else that will stuff, its standard easy veggy when you can't be bothered............
Nanna have you phoned Lloyds, I phoned and was very assertive and told them I was recording and they reduced the interest to 0.468% per month, it previously was 26.9% so some improvement, and at least the whole payment from CCCS isn't going on interest. But they are still the pits.....More than Two Years in

Hi all:j
Been up since 6.40 - waiting for delivery of new iPhone for DD....7am to 7pm is the time slot & you just know it'll be 7.01am or 6.59pm.... well, it's not here yet:mad:
Slightly good news is that I took out the contract as she couldn't get out of her current one, so I'll take over her Blackberry (:eek::eek:) contract & she'll pay the new one. No, that's not the good news :rotfl:- whne I got the phone (through Tesco, getting points very :money:) the nice lady said, and now we have to do a CREDIT CHECK so just stay on the line  Tld DD it could be a nono at this point, have v bad memories of trying to get a mobile phone from a shop - this is before the debts - & being turned down. Even offered to bring in my bank balance, huge at the time - haha they said it didn't matter - computer says NO.
Anyhow, Tesco said YES - which could mean that our credit rating is somewhat repaired??? BTW can I just ask you knowledgeable people, if you pay off a card in full every month, when do you do it to avoid interest?? I mean as soon as you get it, before the due date or what?? I could ask this on the Cc baord but been over there & it looks too scary to ask such a dumb q IYSWIM:D
What a load of A$$holes they are at Lloyds - we are with them, only joined them as DH had an account since he was a student, so I joined his when I messed mine up. What we know is that they'l help you no end, falling over themselves to lend cash wehn you've GOT some, but push you under when you need help. I hate them with a passion but since all bar one account (business as well as personal) are with them, we are stuck with them tll debt is paid off. I find that they like to slap on their charges to take you over your o/d limit, then slap on charges for the full month for going OVER your o/d limit. And this is after I've checked online banking earlier in the day & there have been no prbs. I suppose the moral of the story is to either not have an o/d(haha) or check banking more than once a day:mad:
Better get on with some stuff as not done much although been around ages LOL
Have a great day all, don't let the beggars grind you down:j:j:jNew start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -
Hi Sash
Its so long since I've been able to do it but I think you pay when you get the bill? maybe better to be on the safe side cos there will be some loophole invented where they can charge you interest for just breathing.....................More than Two Years in

Just a quick update......I couldn't wait for a letter to go, so I have just had a very heated conversation with Lloyds.....But, I don't know why I bother, 'cos they've got an answer for everything. Because our 6 month agreement for the DMP had come to an end, the account was passed over to collection department, (who in their infinite wisdom decided to reduce my overdraft limit by £50) which is why they asked for the extra money to be paid.
They have now decided to accept my DMP for another 6 months, but this time they will add interest at a rate of 1.5% = which means out of my £15 payment, £8 is going to them in interest. I am waiting for a call back from Payplan to see if I can pay this off, I do have my budget monies put by for car repairs and road tax etc, I am absolutely livid to be paying more than half my payment in interest, but as she said yesterday, its better than being charged £20 per day......its as though they are really doing me a favour.
Need loads of coffee and could really do with it laced with something.!! Brandy for me, arsenic for Lloyds

aw Elsie, they are not worth your blood pressure, they are lower than low. I hope you got all of their names, I keep a running total, and mention them all in your complaint. I'm saving the BNP comment from lloyds for my first complaint, as I'm sure there will be one in the future. Horrible horrible people.
Have a brandy and sit out, the sun is shining again.More than Two Years in

Thanks,
Taking your advice, but just having the coffee, I want to have a clear head when Payplan ring. I'm just concerned that if we pay off the £500, will they expect us to pay more on our credit card with them. !! We just can't do it, we have got a little bit saved but that's only by scrimping and cutting down on the housekeeping. I'd like to see these Bank people manage on what we do.!!

go for it and remember that Payplan are meant to be on your side too. If its better for you to pay it off, the others will just get a slight increase in their payments, shouldn't be a problem.
fingers crossed

Hi, been away for few days so just catching up. Opened principality account and set up 2 little pots
. Elsie, sorry to hear your stress levels are high. hope payplan can sort it out. Sounds as tho it might be better to pay it off if you can but I'm no expert. Hope coffee helped. I had ansaphone message from Loyds/TSB when I got back, but am not going to ring back as I can predict conversation and am not in mood for that.
PDD I saw on another thread that you had 22 creditors. I thought I had record with 19 but you have gone 1 (or should I say 3) better. Not sure its anything to be proud of but what the heck!DeeBee0 -
thanks dmb,
I have to confess to sharing them with OH, so we have 22 between us. You can understand why I was worried we wouldn't get all of them to agree but we have more or less, just waiting for RBS to terminate me and then they too will stop interest and that will give us everybody stopped barring of course Lloyds, who only reduced as is their wont!!!More than Two Years in

Thanks dmb.......still waiting for Payplan to call back, so I guess that its not going to be today now. Just spoke to OH, he is away again this week, he gets to miss all the fun.!! :j but I think he's glad he's not here, 'cos I turn into mrs gumpy when the creditors start.
PDD......I know that you are waiting to be terminated, are you able to reciprocate.!! :T 'cos I've got a few creditors that I would like terminating. You have done very well to get almost all your creditors to reduce or stop interest, :T:T we only have 10, and 4 of them have never frozen or reduced interest at all, grrr.
Anyway, its time for tea, so will be back later
