    HI ALL:j

Just go out for the evening & look what happens when I'm gone - vino collapso, poledancing, cheeky vimtos, handbag dancing, snowballs, underarm hair plaiting classes......:mad::mad: I missed the lot:eek:

Anyhow, I had the swiss choccy here so you missed out on that one :rotfl:didn't have any tho so still plenty left:eek: for another time.

On the other hand the free meal we got was nice (for a change), the dessert I did eat most of it, and we did get a win so it wasn't a bad night all in all:D. If it wasn't for the weekly trip to the game I did wonder if I'd ever bother with the hairy bits:eek: Growing your own socks anyone? BRRR after I got rid of mine, thank goodness the weather is warm today:T

Need to get myself sorted & get some selling done, website & even (ssssh) maybe eBay eventually. On the positive side I had an online offer for 20% off clothes, had loads in my basket but forgot to buy before offer expired, whew lucky escape there methinks.:rotfl:

    Catch you all later xx

Have a good day Nanny25.....weather is great, you'll enjoy your day out even more 'cos its not your fuel. :D

By the way, did you ever get any further with your Family History?

    Good afternoon all

We have just come back from town. It is absolutely glorious here in sunny Reading and I am now all pink from sitting outside a cafe on the riverside. OH was at the opticians so it was a choice of sitting in a waiting room or drinking coffee in the sun:)

I was so annoyed with BT this morning when since I first logged on this morning they had turned off the broadband:eek:. Since we moved in we have had problems paying the broadband bill and after trying to get them to send us online billing which they couldn't manage (cos they couldn't get sending paper bills right) I asked to go back onto paper bills again. Anyway 3 weeks ago I phoned and said that I couldn't pay if they didn't send me one and please could they send one and then this morning no broadband:eek: They are truly pathetic. Also when we tried to pay the bill they tried to charge us more than they should because we had asked to go an a different tarriff 3 months ago. What is the point?
Anyway the day has improved because I have received 2 emails from BT this morning so maybe this time they will have done what they say they will.
Anyway enough wingeing and this sunshine is enough to make anyone happy.
    Have a lovely day everyone.
    Cuddles:)

I know - and I'll be saving on the contributions for both as well - if I need to go any distance for work, I just get a hire car or the train!

Had a lovely day today:) Went to a Country Park and walked along the canal, sat and had our £2 meal deal each (well £1.80 with discount) courtesy of Mr T. We were watching all the baby ducks with their mums - they were so funny!

Think I need a glass of something now, then it'll be a perfect end to a perfect day:T:T

    Good morning everyone,

Hope you all had a good day yesterday, the weather was absolutely gorgeous here in Yorkshire, and its promising to be another sunny day again today. :j

Went to work yesterday in the morning, and then got all the washing done and dried in the afternoon, nothing exciting really. :( Went to the supermarket in the afternoon, 'cos we wanted a piece of beef for dinner, there was very little on the shelves either small pieces or large joints at around the £13 mark. An assistant was tidying the meat, and then she started to reduce them,....well I went in for the rugby tackle, and got a great piece reduced to half price. £6.50 for a massive piece, and it was absolutely beautiful. :D So we had that yesterday for 5 of us, 2 more meals today, and 2 in the freezer.....how MSE is that.!! :money: And it was delicious. See that's how exciting my life is.:(

Just remembered, its Nanna58's " lady wat lunches " day today, so have a good one nanna.

Need coffee now, :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: but will pop back during the day.

thanks Elsie I now have this picture of you in your sparkles rugby tackling some innocent supermarket lady................... well done good tackle. I got a huge bit of ham last week for £8 from Mr A and it did two full meals and endless sandwiches, and they were reduced to £5 this week, so have another sitting in the fridge awaiting my culinery talents, bargain!!!

Sun is shining here too, I hope it doesn't rain all summer in payback. You have that sort of scaredy attitude to a bit of sun when you're in the West Of Scotland, trust me.

Nanna hope you are having a wonderful day, sounds like it was fab yesterday too.
