Have sorted my eggs for the grandkids......we won't be seeing them over Easter so they had them early. :( I must admit, that I don't buy expensive ones for them, they are still working their way through the selection boxes etc from Christmas. :xmastree:

I am working some shifts over Easter, its the one thing that annoys me about working in retail......everybody wants to shop at holiday times. Still at least I have a job, which = money.:T

I absolutely agree with you. I work for a high street fashion store, and we open every day except Christmas day, New Years and Easter Sunday.......Late nights at christmas....... We even opened New Years day the year before last,.....who wants to shop then....Not me.!! We have to take our turn in working Bank Holidays too.......which really bugs my OH....he is a Monday to Friday working chap.....2 weeks shut down at Christmas, which means he is on his own whilst I am working.!! :( Anyhoo......no more grumbling.....well for now at least.

Off to have a lovely soak in the bath......I'll be absolutely gorgeous when I get out.!!;)

Hi all well its great to be back but for how long??? Have had to keep off the pc because of strange funny dizzy head and blurring eyes, I put it down to too much internet!! and would you believe it - its worked. The funny head has gone and I can SEE now. So Im back and going to see what happens this time. Usually im on the internet 4/5 hrs a day and more on some days. But I must say ive learnt a great deal on the pc.

Over the years ive also discovered things that happen to my body before the weather changes, I can tell whether its going to rain/snow or be very windy - and I hate it does it happen to anyone else? My daughter tells me I should hire myself out to the weather centre. All I can say is im never wrong.

Looked after two dogs at my home today. 1 - hate my strawberry plants and dug the garden up with loads of plants in, 2nd dog tried to get onto my kitchen bench and tipped 2 plantpots with pepper seeds and soil in all over the kitchen floor. Then when I went to feed them - 2 bowls in hands - they jumped up and split the bowls all over the kitchen, there was me trying to sweep all the dog food up and the two dogs hovering it up faster than I could clean it up. What a day!!! and Im an hour short.

Think I shall go to bed early this evening, night to all x

    Good morning everyone.

Glad to see you back Doris, we were wondering if you were ok, it sounds as if you had an entertaining day yesterday with your four legged friends. At least they were only there for the day, just think of the havoc they could cause in a couple of days.!!

Well, its gone back to being dark again when I get up at this ungodly hour. It's bad enough getting up early, but it does make it a bit more pleasant when its light.! And there is a blooming blackbird, who was singing away since 3.30am.........very nice, but I could have throttled him. :(

Anyway. got to go check the bank, and get ready for work. Have a good day everyone, and be back later. :D

  • morning All

On holiday from work now for 10 days, don't actually know what to do with myself, normally would be away abroad at this time of the year so at a bit of a loose end. However, OH and I have decided we will phone the two remaining bits of our DMP, Cap one for him !!! and Lloyds for me. Both are completely ignoring us, no letters, no phone calls no contact with CCCS. I have a horrible feeling the accounts are sitting somewhere gathering huge amounts of interest so I would like it sorted, now.

    Fingers crossed

Good luck with Lloyds:mad::mad::mad:can't say anything about Cap one,,,because we have never used them.

You will just have to chill over the next 10 days. I know what you mean, I find it very hard to take holidays from work and not go anywhere.....its just not natural.!!:(
