Good morning everyone.
The sun is shining and I've got a load of washing in, I'm trying to get ahead of myself with it, because OH is home this weekend with a weeks worth of dirty washing to be done. And that nasty weather man, said we may have SNOW some time next week.!!
I also have to do a supermarket trip today, which I hate. But on the plus side I have got £3 in Tesco vouchers to use, everything helps.!!
On my way home from work yesterday, I called into one of the charity shops and bought a smashing top, a dressy sort of one, with a cami underneath it. Absolute bargain at £3, just perfect for the summer. :T
Just posted on a thread where someone was asking "Can you live without credit".(see you posted on there too nanna). What's the answer to that one guys......YES WE CAN.! I wish I had realized that years ago. (That's another fine mess I got myself into).
Have a good day everyone, will pop back later.

:eek:Hi everyone:j
Haven't been posting much as have been so busy & stressed trying to get all ready for DD to go off on a trip today, plus I'm away Monday till GFriday as well. Feels wrong somehow to be going off when I should be throwing all at the debts, but it is business, sort of. Just lately I don't feel I've had any time for me at all, I'm sure everyone has the feelings sometimes:eek: - you know the sort - I am going to explode or lay down on the floor & scream.................still a couple of hours now & DD plus sleepover friends will be gone on their hen trip to Edinburgh - 30+ ladies on a coach driving from Wales to Scotland & picking up DD en route. For a Tina Turner/60s themed do, watch out Edinburgh:eek:
Mananged to avoid late night shopping crisis at 11pm last night when DD finally tried on her sequinned o/f - bought for her yonks ago bt never tried on - & true to form it didn't fit her. Rooted through my overstuffed wardrobes & came up with a sequinned top that is older than her (19) but just about fitted & will do a job - result!! No money spent, whew. See I knew that would come in handy someday:rotfl:
Sun shining, get rid of the girls & hopefully I can get some me time in:TNew start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -
Hi,
Enjoy your " business trip, sort of " time. Its nice to have some me time, and lets face it , we all need that at times. The debts will still be there when you get back. We still go on holiday, not expensive ones, but nonetheless, its time away.
You know what to do with all that stuff in the wardrobe, get it on ebay.! although, as you say it did come in handy.
Have a good weekend.

Good mornning everyone:wave:
I thought I would pop by before I get on with my day. I have been away house/dog sitting for some friends and am feeling fat and frumpy today (have done nothing but watch TV/read/eat biccies all week) so I am going to have a lovely warm bath (there are up sides to it being chilly cos the CH means the hot water tank heats up too and I had turned it off last week, in spring/summer we shower and wash up with water from the kettle but put it back on for a few hours th warm the house up)
Will probably be a pottering around sort of day and then I think I will do an Aldi shop sometime this weekend. I only need a veg and sandwich suff type of shop and this means less chance of overspending.
Do you think it is possible to be frugal and lose weight? Well I really know the answer to that but it is getting my bum into gear and doing something about it. The frugal is the important bit and the problem is I tend to be a nibbler(my diet is quite healthy apart from this) so I need to get disciplined.
Anyway I had better get on
Have a lovely day everyone

Cheers E52, yes I know I should get that stuff on ebay, trouble is I have a website that sells other (more profitable) items - & I haven't had time to deal with that either:eek: But like I said, get rid of the girls & I can get some catching up done. Should be a cheap day - not going anywhere today, might ask DH to call get a tray of eggs from Farm shop though. My problem with ebay is that if I sell on there, I also buy on there as well:mad:
But you are right, I have loads of stuff to sell:eek:New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -

My doctor told me not to eliminate anything just to cook with out as much fat as possible. If i fanceied a treat to have it but in a smaller quantity. as counting would not have worked for me i knew i would have lost the plot, plus i never paid at a club.simple things like spreading bread with chutney or pickle instead of butter worked for me.
Even crisps (luv um) eating low fat worked. That is my way it worked for me:T:Tform filler extrordinaire0
