I did say I had been LOOKING at the clothes......can't afford to buy them !! :o When you look at people going through the tills, there are not many that pay with cash, its on a card normally.

Glad to hear OH has got some work....long may it last. :T:T

I agree with you, a sense of humor is definitely needed in our situation...otherwise it would be buckets of tears all over.:(

thanks for the kind words. Yes it is essential to have a sense of humour in these crazy days. I go to our local college too for hair stuff and beauty treatments. (ok so they make me use the back door and wear a mask):o but as you say they are cheap, cheerful and easygoing. I used to teach there so its their turn to get their own back on me.:rotfl:
Need an early night so off to bed for me, sleep well all.

Good morning everyone, and guess what......its FRIDAY....and even better than that its payday for me too. Just checked bank account and it looks pretty healthy, 'cos we've both been paid, but we get to the 3rd of the month and its all downhill from then. When our DMP payment comes out, there isn't a great deal left then. Oh well, such is life.

Looks another dismal day today, raining and dull. Just getting ready for work, and need to call for a couple of bits at the supermarket before I get home, so have a good day guys, and see you later.

  • :wave:Hi folks back from the deep south, well manchester and the weather is still rotten here:(

See you've all been having a giggle without me.

We've still not been paid and I've had to transfer back some of the saved up pennies to get us through till payday, how depressing was that, maybe I was being too optimistic about the budget and then the OH need a tyre and it was Mother's Day and their was a birthday, all of which I tried to get out the normal budget, onward and upward.

But it is Friday and I'm on hols for 10 days:T:T first time in years we haven't been off somewhere nice at Easter, going to just do days here and there, cheaply:)

    have a good weekend

Friday and the schools have broken up already:eek: I have DGS as his mum is still recovering from an operation. Builders are busy putting in an absent foundation where the garage door was, is there an icon for concrete dust?
They have worked so fast I cant keep up with them.
No pennies:( so cant go anywhere with GS (cant leave OH alone anyway,) so we will read and play silly games and bake easter cakes for his mammy:) after buiders go and dust is removed, that is. Bye everyone
