  • calmness, its not worth the blood pressure, you might want to think about reducing your payments as paying more obviously does no good to anyone, you might want to think about complaining to a few people, this must go against all of their so called guidelines

I'm back and now totally calm.....(.2 coffees and 2 flakes later.)
It just goes to show, no matter how long you have been on a DMP, and think that you have got everything going on a even keel, these things still get to you. Anyway, enough shouting. I'm a Laaady...don't you know.! It just knocks you back, an what the hell can you do about it. I think some creditors don't even know what guidelines are.

Its really scary to think creditors can still mess you around even when you're fully established on a DMP. I can't believe they can't freeze interest if you're paying more than minimum. Almost like they don't want you to pay debt back. How short-sighted can they be. My basic bank account is with Clydesdale - well I opened it up with Yorkshire Bank but they seem to be one and the same. If I knew what a mess I'd be in now I would'nt have touched cc with a bargepole - wisdom of hindsight eh!

    Hi dmb and nanna58.

I'm over it now, its just the frustration of it all. As you say, we are trying to pay it all back, but they don't help. Spoke to OH earlier, he worries when he's away because I'm left to deal with it all.

Anyway, that's enough of that.....tomorrow is another day, and another day closer to being debt free.!! Thanks for the support everyone, its good to have someone to talk to.:T:T

Elsie, glad you are over it Bleep clydsedale these people either seem to take a perverse delight in our predicament or are totally indifferent to it. You are a wise bird, truly, and will rise above their stupid behaviour......... and the vodka will help. Hope you have a better day tomorrow. Virtual hug and flakes on way to you. xx

    Good morning Aggie,:hello:

Hope you are feeling better, and are on the mend.
I know what you mean about hospitals, but they are the best place if you should need it.
Thanks for your message.......today is another day, and I did survive without the vodka.!! Chocolate is a different matter.:EasterBun

    See you soon.

    Get well. x:kisses3:

    Good morning everyone.

It's a new day, so yesterday is past and its on to the next little crisis. It just goes to show, that they can still get to you, and as mrs i. says, I do think they take some sort of pleasure in upsetting folk.! I just get annoyed, that I let them upset me.....no more Mr Nice Guy.!!

Day off today, so I'm having a bit of a lazy day. The washing is in, and hopefully the weather will stay fine so it can be hung out to dry. I don't have much housework to do so I can potter today. I've got a jumper I want to finish knitting, and I'm going to watch a bit of telly. :D

I've still got more items on ebay, which are getting bids on, so in the next couple of days they should come to an end. I have also bought myself some skirts and tops from there. I got a Marks and Spencer skirt, brand new with the tags still on for £4.99. Just hope it fits when it gets here, although I only buy clothes that come from the stores where I know the sizing is okay for me. If you see what I mean. :) Just off to check the banking and also see if I can move some money around in my little pots in:T the PrincipalityB.S.

Have a good day everyone, I will keep popping in for a chat during the day.

    P.S.

If yesterday bothered me so much, and I'm an oldie......what does it do to the younger ones? does it freak them out, or are they tougher than us, or is it that we oldies are softer?

    What do you all think?
