rainy here all day (W MIDS) better tomorrow hopefully out for the day with little uns.Mrs i hold on the wool false alarm PHEW!!!!
6 phone calls today dont answer the phone any more if it is important they will leave a message and they never do.They konw we are having probs and are paying what we can so why do they insist on trying to get more.But i will not be bullied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Calls because of OH having little work so my money has had to go further but had some come in so can catch (i hope)

Haven't done anything really it's down to CCCS.
They did say that if I give them a monthly amount that will pay it off in less than 10 years it had a good chance of being accepted.
Which of course I did.

Hope you are all well.

:whistle: " The sun has got his hat on.....hip hip hooray." :whistle: Well for the moment he has, so its out with the washing as usual. Thank goodness for sunny weather.!

OH is now away for a week, so its lonesome me.! :sad: But on the plus side:-

1. The house stays tidy. :T

2. The washing pile is shirt free and less of it. :T

3. I don't have to cook a meal at night, I can just please myself. :T

4. No sport on the telly for a week.:T:T

The list could go on, but I will miss him.!

I am going to parcel some items up that sold on ebay yesterday, ready for my almost daily trip to the Post Office, but at least I don't have to suffer the glare of disapproval from the cashiers, as I stagger through the doors clutching arms full of parcels.:eek: No.....we now have two of those self service machines, so I can do it myself, and not have to smile and pretend to be sorry that I have 6 parcels.!! I will also put some more on ebay today. So that should keep me out of mischief for a while.

Morning All

Sun shining again here, weird, this is the West of Scotland, we don't usually see the sun until around May!!! But its fab, I have been wandering around in my dressing gown (shut your eyes) putting out recycling etc, and I wasn't cold!! weird weird

Hope you all enjoyed Saturday, did I mention that Scotland won at the rugby against Ireland???? oh and I believe England lost, aw well.

Have a good week Elsie, I know what you mean about peace but I do miss him, I am away much more and I just hate it, 2 days in sunny manchester at the end of this week, hey ho

good morning, (just) grey skies but good drying, so 2 lines out one to go, then prepare for grandson invasion ...little darling. Party last night was brilliant,:beer: they are a lovely family, nephew was well pleased with his cake, and i made a box of 21 iced buns and put a note on saying this is what happens when you ask a slightly deaf wizard to arrange a 21 gun salute.
cant help being a bit silly eh? relief about the false alarm nana, and wad, well done you. Off to find cream for two ugly cold sores that have dared to inhabit my top lip bye have a super sunday

Go for superdrugs own brand, definitely works better than all the more expensive brands

Thanks PDD i will get dd to get this one. I get a lot of cold sores and have tried the brand leader, boots own and one I found in the pound shop, but not tried superdrug yet. I have had a request for different sausages today, so I.m gonna try your recipe Nanna, it sounded tasty and easy..... oh er and inexpensive, 3 winners for me. bye everyone
