Hi all. I've been busy with uni work today. Weather here was lovely and sunny, quite spring like. When my OH retired he got a part-time job with an estate agent showing people around houses. It keeps him busy and the money is handy too!

I don't know why I didn't think of that, I used to work for an Estate Agent for 10 years, and we had a couple of retired gents who did that. What are you studying at uni?

childhood studies, its mostly sociology with some social work stuff, its really interesting but I don't enjoy the essays ! I've nearly finished only a few weeks left. I'll be so sorry to finish.

Hope you are all well. I'm a happy bunny this morning 'cos its F R I D A Y ...:T:T:T.. and I have got the weekend to look forward to.

Work today and just the usual things like shopping, although I am calling at our local market after work for some fruit and vegetables. They can be quite a lot cheaper.

Just checked the bank account again this morning, and all is looking okay.:cool:

Should really do some housework but!!!
Still waiting for welcome pack.
Never had as much money in the bank since started making token payments.

Hoorah......its Friday, and the weekend starts here. :T

It's true what they say, that time flies by when you get older..... I can't believe its the weekend already. Just called in M & S and treated us to a M & S dine in for 4 meal. That will do nicely for Sunday, Roast Beef, Roast Potates, New York Cheesecake and a bottle of wine £15......but I only paid £5, cos hubby had a £10 gift card given at work, so we shall enjoy it even more.! I know they are a bit pricey, but it should have cost £24.96 for all that. We won't drink the wine, so that will go away for christmas, either as a gift for someone, or to drink ourselves.:D

Not doing any housework today, will have a quick tidy up tomorrow. Just going to chill.!!:cool:

PDD, you posted on someones thread, and I can't remember whose, but you mentioned that you have opened a building society account with a Welsh B.S. Who were they.....you also said it allows you to have little pots......how does that work then, ...I want to open another account to save for bills etc:A

Hang on to the spare cash, we put it away and it was a nice little buffer just in case we had a emergency.;)

What kind of work do you do thewad, and are you self employed.?
