Hi Steve,
Thanks yeah, it sounds familiar with them, I think you can't really go wrong with giving them a few weeks longer and they will be in touch, they did stick to their timelines which got me quite positive thinking when it happened, then I got the letter through saying they had rejected it.
Perhaps in the mean time you could fill out the FOS paperwork whilst you're waiting just in case, then once you get your final response from CB you can fire off you're paperwork quickly if needs be, or if there is good news you can take great pleasure in shredding it.
Good luck and keep in touch with the outcome, I've got letter typed up to see if they'll re-open it after the FSA advisory last year, and if they come back saying still no, then I'll send it to the FOS to see what they say. Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -

Well ......... finally got an answer from the bank.
I have been offered £535.81 on one of the loans, and totally refused anything on the other.
Will take one and appeal the other through the FOS i think
;);)
They said that they had the recordings of the phone conversations ...... do you think they're bluffing ?0 -

Hi Steve
In that case they should be able to provide you with the copy of the telephone calls on request, I would ask for them.;)
If you do go to the FOS then, you never know there maybe something in that recording that will help your case.
Well done on the one offer.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"

definately request a copy of the recording to see what it contains and listen to it carefully, you will probably find ather reasons for a miss-sale
cheersI'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free0
