Poor cat - hope she manages alright with only the one eyeStart Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -
Fairly sure she'll be happy the minute she gets outside. Unfortunately the vet says thats not going to happen for another 10 days and then only for quiet time whilst fully supervised.
Meanwhile have dispatched the dusty Playstation steering wheel and the foot pedals and the handbrake to a new home getting rid of another box of dusty stuff. Waiting for the first of many kitchen cupboards to dry before putting back only the stuff that we actually need. Am fairly confident that no home requires six frying pans of assorted sizes, a saute pan, a giant paella pan and a wok. Am thinking minimalistic thoughts but its not working.
Whilst waiting for the shelves to dry I'm going to pootle outside in the last of the eveing sunshine to do a spot of weeding in order to cram as much stuff as possible in the wheelie bins ready for collection tomorrow.
Whoop whoop my E-bay tat has bids alreadyperhaps that will spur me on to list the next lot.

First lot of stuff creatively arranged in the cupboard so that theres space for the Lean Grenn Dust Gathering Machine. Six more items bunged on Freecycle.
Still space for another trug load of stuff in the wheelie bin but its getting a bit dark to play spot the microscopic nettles.
Fruit soaking for the final four christmas cakes. Am now out of sherry besides which eight cakes is plenty. Was planning to knock something together to go with coffee for tomorrow but have run of of steam, besides Twinks Hobnobs always taste best straight from the oven. Need to make sure I'm up and baking by 6am for that to occur though.
Final official job of the day is the sweeping and mopping of the kitchen floor once the four legged fiend is shut in for the night. Could also do with folding the laundry that I've done today and then putting it away, its currently languishing in a heap on an armchair where I've been dumping it as its dried. After that a quick burst of ironing is in order but first I need to clear enough space to put it all out of the puppys reach whilst I sort it.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Cleaning of the next cupboard is a work in progress albeit one that will need completing if I'm to stand any chance of making a cuppa in the morning. Talk about being crammed full of tat.
14 reusable drinks bottles - the girls take four to school between them each day.
4 insulated cups
6 flasks
a wide array of plastic containers
20 oven to table dishes in an assortment of shapes and sizes
9 ice cube trays and yet theres never any ice in the freezer
12 assorted animal dishes although we're rapidly throwing them out thanks to a puppy who likes to bang her dish against the wall when its empty
and a whole heap of other stuff.
Am going to cull this by a third, shut the puppy in for the night, mop the kitchen floor and grab some supper to munch whilst I read for an hour or so.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
You are even worse than me for hoarding.

The cull went swimingly with a bin bag full of worn out tat in the bin and a dozen items destined for Freecycle at some point tomorrow. Kitchen floor is done. Bed is beckoning. G'nite all!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Good Morning Britain!
First of this morning christmas cakes are baking merrily away, another bag of carp has been deposited in the general waste bin which is now heaving but won't be emptied for another week. A trip to the tip is imminent.
Cat is feeling muchly better and has chowed her way through an entire can of food since last night despite the vets claims that she might not be feeling hungry.
Friend isn't coming till 2 which gives me tons of time to do everything that needs doing and a whole heap of other things providig I don't spend too much time sitting on my bum at the PC completing surveys and generally faffing about. Friend in question has a cake stall at the local farmers market, I'm half tempted to suggest I bake some stuff for her for expenses and a small percentage of profit. I bake once a week anyway so another couple of batches won't make any difference and even if I only end up a fiver a week better off that will mount up rather quickly over the year. I know shes struggling to bake enough fresh stuff as it all has to be done the day before so it may allow her a bit of breathing space. I'm vaguely thinking scones in an assortment of varieties as they're cheap and easy to make and something else along those lines. Will ponder some more. Meanwhile I need to slap on some daytime clothing at some stage but first a mountain of washing up beckons.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Daytime clothing duly slapped on along with two coats of sparkly hot pink nail varnish on my toes.
All laundry transported to the appropriate rooms, some of it even put away. Airers are now crammed in the tardis under the stairs which is showing signs of imminent rupture. Got half way through vacuuming downstairs when puppy discovered the innards of a toilet roll that shes nicked and stashed earlier in the week. Have abandonned vacuuming until shes finished shredding it. Did try throwing it out in the garden but she simply brought it back in with some pondweed to keep it company. Suppose I might as well de-cobweb the ceilings downstairs.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Two cakes baked, hobnobs cooling, next two cakes in, garden poop scooped, chooks mucked out and the first lot of washing up done. Am having a laid back lunch before product testing the hobnobs.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
