Ok time to 'fess up for I have been a bad moo. Dropped cat a vets, purchsed chicken feed and ordered puppy food for collection weds which saw off £45. Took a major detour home in order to go for a cuppa at a friends to catch up on just about everything which was most enjoyable. Left her frantically last minute packing for seven peopepl to go on holiday right about now..... then on to the civilised world where a very tasty tub of sweet chilli hoummus leapt into my trolley along with a loaf of freshly baked bread. Did remember everything I needed for tomorrows cakes. Also booked free eyetests at Mr Ts opticians for later in the week. Then it all went sooo wrong..... or so right depending how you look at it.
Crossed the road to the two storey Next armed with £30 of shortly expiring vouchers only to discover that military is the new black and t-shirts all have enormous ties and bows on them. Whilst I rather liked the Sergeant Pepper style coats they're not really me. Nor are see through floral leggings or ridiculously clingy see through knee lenght bra strap revealing tops. Still undaunted I ventured into the changing rooms clutching a vast array of tops and emerged victorious with the founding member of my capsule wardrobe. Its much more feminie than I'd usually go for but it felt right on. Its more likely I'll actually wear something if it doesn't make me look self conscious.
Now just have to figure out what the heck I have stashed that will look ok with it. Am confident its something that will work just as well with jeans as with smart trousers but need to try it just to double check.... meanwhile I blew the "change" on some socks with stripey heels and toes. Am now out of Next gift vouchers which is probably just as well.
Next on the agenda is booking a haircut in an attempt to tame the mess that is confined to my pony tail. Daren't wear it any other way at the mo. because its truly ghastly. But then I've a feeling I haven't had it cut in almost a year which explains rather a lot really.
Figured whilst I was blitzing the house I could blitz me too. I've not so much let myself go as just not really bothered to make time for me. Of course its not suddenly enough to make me run out and buy makeup because thats just a step too far but I'm sure I can manage a bit of lip gloss even if I do need to raid the DDs bedrooms to find some.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Doesn't sound like you've been bad at all moo! Enjoy treating yourself a little bit for a change. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Got a bit sidetracked again with a 101 things in 1001 days challenge list. Bit stuck for ideas at the mo but I'm sure I can come up with something.

I'd never heard of that website before but what a fab idea, have book marked it and will start writing myself a list when I get back from the post office (which will be sometime soon I just need to get out of bed first). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Neither, I'm getting ready to move next weekend so had nowhere else to sit in my room when I started shredding documents, and it's so much comfier to be under the quilt when sitting on a bed so I just got back in to it.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Meanwhile having an eek moment. A friend is coming over for the afternoon tomorrow. Means I need to tackle the downstairs bathroom rather sooner than planned.
Twenty minutes to go before I can phone the vets to find out if the cat is going to be sporting the latest in pirate chic or whether her eye has healed sufficiently to allow it to remain attached to her body. Either way I hope she'll be able to venture outdoors sonn as she hates being shut inside.
Off to clean the bathroom. Oh joy.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Got a phonecall from the work experience student at the vets to say the cat has survived its operation. Always a good start. Whats been done and whether or not I can collect her later today remains a mystery. Waiting for the real nurse to call back later.
Meanwhile the downstairs bathroom is sparkly clean right down to scouring the limescale out of the pan before chucking some vinegar in the eradicate the rest. Must remember to flush the loo later. Got carried away and did the loo upstairs too. Next on the agenda is the kitchen which resembles a bomb site. I am a very messy person. More caffiene first me thinks.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Cat is now minus an eyeball but can be collected in an hour. further surgery means she has to stay indoors for another ten days but at least this is the end of it. Have told the DDs, they've phoned almost every hour since 2pm to find out how she is.
Suddenly starving so scoffing a bowl of cury with the crusty bread I got at lunchtime. Haven't touched the kitchen yet. Bored of decluttering and even more bored of housework despite having done a negligable amount today. Going to have a quick whiz round the dining room before the cat returns to occupy it.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
