UK Postal Rates Increase 6 April 2010
The price of a first class stamp will increase to 41p from 39p (up 5.1%).
Second class will increase from 30p to 32p (up 6.7%).
Large letter new prices increase by 5p to 66p for up to 100g (up 8.2%) for first class and from 47p to 51p for second class.
BEWARE: Easter weekend coming up - April 6th is next Tuesday.0 -

and nothing else goes up every year?
i was talking to someone the other day who is paying over 40p a litre more for fuel than they did when they bought their car last year

I would very much doubt any of the caps will go up. Blast. I send out a lot of DVDs by first class and I still have a fair number of 90p stamps left - does anyone know if i can return those to the post office for money-back?0
