QT last night - Will Self - what a fool

defending thompson and venables. what an utter douchebag.

"perhaps they weren't evil but just two confused little boys" booo hoooo hooooooooo

they weren't confused, they were two animals who knew exactly what they were doing when they took him away and tortured and then murdered him.

there are plenty of children who grow up in abusive homes/care etc that don't murder babies and I think it is a massive insult to tar them all with the same brush.

in reality, these two animals should have been put down and their organs given to Gt Ormand St or Alder Hey(sp?).

Instead, our wishy washy "justice" system spends million on them, then gives them a new life and puts them "on licence" forever, which the moron Self thinks is "a life sentence". According to the papers, Venables "life sentence" included boozing in Merseyside, attending Everton matches and Keane concerts at the Caveren. Tragic life. He then goes home to his bedsit (presumably paid for by the tax payer).

Now he has done something wrong (minor or major) and is back inside, again at enormous expense to the tax payer - so he can be protected from other criminals - most of whom have committed far lessor crimes.

Now they are saying he needs another new identity.

Enough already - just tell the other lags who he is, and lets hope JUSTICE is finally meted out to this baby murdering animal.

I hate this country sometimes.

And - what right does the state have to hide his past from people he meets? For all the lefty morons clapping like seals with the chief moron Self on QT - I doubt ANY of them would (a) leave their two year old child with them, or (b) if a woman, have a child with him if they knew.

The country is a disgrace. A haven for baby-murdering scum at the expense of the decent tax-paying majority who are forced to pay for their "new" luxury lifestyle.

SCUM.

I'd rather hear someone say something controversial than the vacuous humbug from Ms Vorderman.

I thought it was quite an entertaining prog last night - especially when preceded by Paxo's 'Are baby-boomers just greedy old gits' on Beeb 2

If a rabid mob were allowed to dismember Venables and Thompson on James Bulger's grave, would the dead child magically come back to life? I could see this being presented by Derek Acorah and Piers Morgan. Ratings gold.

    Well, are they?
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I dont usually agree with TWH, but as far as the penal system goes it is horribly broken.

I was just reading how some youth who stamped on some kids head after he mugged him has received a 'stiff sentence' of 7 years due to the 'horrific and disgraceful' nature of the attack.

The lad will never recover, but under Labour's early release legislation his attacker will be out in 3 and a half years, which he will have spent sitting on his backside playing xbox, watching tv and smoking weed.

Meanwhile we have Baby P's killers all doing 10 years or probably much less. They'll then get out and have whole new identities to protect them from dealing with any actual consequences of their crime.

Apparently we cant just let them out and have them get by with 999 in case they get into trouble like everyone else. This is to prevent people taking the law into their own hands and physically attacking them. Ironic really as the government shows next to interest in pre-empting known criminals from attacking law abiding people.

    J. Bulger was a difficult case as the attackers were so young. Its very disappointing but entirely predictable they havent been well monitored since leaving prison, or wherever the hell it was they went after their awful crime.

Personally if as an adult I were to find myself the author of such a revolting crime as a child; I would write a letter of sincere apology to the victims parents, and then jump off a bridge.

the dead child will never come back. and neither should thompson or venables.

pair of baby killing filth bags. and the anyone that wants them protected should hang their head in shame.

maybe if these killers were given justice by the state, the people would not be taking it into their own hands. maybe if the govt realised that the public would kill them because they feel justice has not been done, then perhaps JUSTICE HAS NOT BEEN DONE.

What do you get for killing a baby? Moved out of your abusive home to a place with tv, games, showers, hot food, cleaners, gym, education, arts and crafts, and then given a whole new identity and life at the expense of the state. You have to wonder if their life IMPROVED as a result of killing this poor child.

They were children then but they're adults now. Part of being an adult is dealing with the consequences of your actions.

Venables got one get out of jail free card, he shouldnt get another one, or any more new identities.
