    Assume you mean Anne Coulter?
It's cos she's a born-again Christian, she believes Jesus Christ is her personal saviour therefore everything she does/says is justified.

Hard to believe the things that these characters propose in that good mans name.

its JSA for prisoners. they get less JSA because prison pay is a bit less, and the tax payer pays for their rent, meals and utilities.

really, they should work hard to cover their rent.

That part I don't really disagree with;)

Somehow I think you may find it harder to wind everyone up and keep the thread explosive now that you have shot your wad regarding your true motivation;)

What would have happened if they had been under 10 and below the age of criminal responsibility?

Anyone like to have a go at answering this?

i never hid that one of my motivations was cash. millions have been wasted on those two boys. and for what? One to be dragged back to prison and the other one to be living in some bedsit claiming benefits.

even if he became a plumber etc is it fair that people (maybe with kids) could have the monster in their home?

probably the same as what happened to them - either nothing at all except a new identity much quicker or they would have been put in some institution until they were 18 and released.

They would not be guilty of any crime, but they would probably have ended up in the social care system. Given their mental health issues, this would probably have resulted in them being sent to a secure mental hospital.

steviej, all I can say is that I have seen this myself, often...and I still think our court system is better than many, many others. It has significant faults we need to address, but the one size fits all approach doesn't work IMO. I've seen a court (judge prosecution and defense) tie itself in knots trying to help a vulnerable accused found not guilty, but ironically, this released the accused into more vulnerable condition than had they been found guilty.

IMO, and without leading to vigilanti-ism we need to take responsibility ourselves jmore for ensuring justice in our own society....thinking about how we way people and chose service providers, what we chose not to turn a blind eye to, and perhaps extending ourselves to help people more often. All this would improve day to day quality of life for many in the longer term, not least from renewed bonds of social cohesion, and less wasted money.

I agree with moggy, these are problems of the right an the left...we all wan to live in a good place with good people and be good....its just how we get there ....

I agree that we are all responsible for justice, that is why the case I mentioned in the US is so important, here is a current update for anyone interested.
