Well theres no real debate to be had here with the white horse so I'll duck out of this thread.
I think I'll go back to not responding to his posts designed to stir the pot. ie all of them.

actually its not. whilst it is certainly a punishment, it is also cheaper. why bother looking after these people (not just thompson and venables, but the likes of fred west, shipman (although they killed themselves) huntley etc etc) - just get rid and job done. no more problem.

If i wanted eye for eye i would suggest that the death penalty is performed in the style of the original murder.

And therein lies the final truth! It is ALL about money and absolutely nothing about anything else, not compassion for the victims, nor justice nor even revenge! Just dosh!:(

That, I find seriously depressing! It's okay folks, doesn't matter if an innocent person gets "put to sleep": Horsey saved 1p in the £1 on his tax bill:(

Minds me of people like Anne Coulthard, the American journo that says thing like 'just nuke em' when discussing Lebannon. Utterly simplistic, yet she doesn't realise this about herself, and to add to the irony she claims the moral high ground!.

    Assume you mean Anne Coulter?
It's cos she's a born-again Christian, she believes Jesus Christ is her personal saviour therefore everything she does/says is justified.

if i was in charge of the prisons no one would reoffend. they would kill themselves in the court rather than come back to the hell I would create.

White Horse refuses to respond to point which contradicts his perspective shocker:eek:

ok, i have looked into this now - it is not job seekers allowance per se, it is a prison unemployment benefit for prisoners who can't get a job inside. So basically the same thing but a different name. Costs us millions. The MoJ say it prepares them for life outside. hahahaha what a joke.

Just as a matter of interest Horsey: what do you do for a living?

I find it interesting that in this sort of thread even we become intolerant of someone else's views, even if they are abhorant to the majority and expressed in such a way so as seemingly going for maximum impact. I don't mean disagreeing with them, I ean the ease with which we , as a species, slip into gang ridicule.IMO this is as significant a reason why crime will never be obliterated. People, generally, are capable of simply being not very nice, and we push, and push and push at the limits of what count's as acceptable.

I don't see all his posts but I thought he was proposing killing children  apologies if I got that wrong.

it's not the same thing at all. it is £2.50 a week.
