I'm a lot better now thanks; couldn't even look at a computer screen earlier!
I think the migraine was the after-effects of being so upset yesterday.
Sorry you're feeling carp - I'd really hoped life was going to start being a bit kinder to you. Wish I could help - maybe the best thing is for us both to get an early night and be certain as we can be that tomorrow will be better.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Fabric came this morning for the curtains to hide the stuff on the shelves in the kitchen. I decided to try and be clever and fold the back to the front at the top and scallop the edge....I must have been mad, I have just sat and trimmed 3 yards of scalloped edging. I must admit it looks nice though, I am pleased with it.

Thank you LW. I'm hoping I am getting all the carp out of the way now so we can be carp free for the rest of our lives. We can but hope I suppose.
Trouble is stress is one of my triggers and I really don't think I could cope with a seizure on top of everything else:(
Sorry I must stop complaining.:o
Glad you are feeling better, an early night sounds good.
Sunnyday Thank you. Hope you sleep well.
csarina That looks amazing, I really wish I could sew but putting on a button is the most I can manage:o
Oh one little bit of good news, My DS got made a sixer at cubs tonight. He is so pleased with himself. Another badge to sew on though:mad:

Bitsy - love the caravan. We had a couple of vans since I moved in with OH and although I had never had one before I took to vanning like a duck to water, it made it soooo much cheaper for us to visit back down south and we also had loads of weekends away. We kept ours at a storage place next to where OH worked, sadly he was made redundant and once he started at his new job he works a lot of weekends so it was as they say 'financially unviable' for us to keep a van. I would have like to keep it but only using it for say 2 weeks a year was just a no-no. I miss it!
Bit of a hiccup here tonight, DSD has gone out, frantic phone call to say her insulin pump isn't working (she has only had this a couple of weeks) OH has gone out armed with a tub full of medical things, hoping it is just a blip as could be a major disaster! she will be ok as we still have insulin pens etc but the pump is one expensive bit of kit so hoping it will be ok. We did try to get it insurured on our house insurance but as she doesn't live with us full time they would not insure it....replacement costs just over £3000
Hope everyone has a peaceful night and a good weekend.

Ee, I'm so brilliant.
A few weeks ago I picked up some poor little plants from Asda at 10p each, late one night. A begonia in a basket was gradually cared for and revived to full health. Last night its two main stems had a gorgeous array of deep red flowers, I was so pleased that it was ready just in time to be a Mother's day gift.
This morning I flung the curtains open, and knocked it onto the floor. Both stems broke off leaving me with two (lovely shiny & healthy) green leaves, tastefully potted up and in a basket.
I don't think either Mum, or mother in law would be too thrilled at this gift, so its back to the drawing board.

very late post from me tonight as have been feeling quite poorly all day. have read through the thread but not really retained much info.. sorry. hope every one has had a good day though.
I started to feel a bit better by 9pm, so decided to clean the flat, and have just finished!! so now i think i'll just go to bed! ironing to do tomorrow, was going to do it tonight, but with the glass still in my foot, it's difficult to stand and do it!
night all x0 -
Becky GO TO BED! The ironing isn't going to eat anything.
Yeah, I'm a fine one to talk - but Mr LW is watching some ridiculous film he recorded the other night, and he like us to go to bed at the same time, so I'm killing a bit of time on here......:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
