    Morning all!

Glorious sunny day here, darned deceptive though, as perishing cold out! dd3 has decided that it is time to start cycling to school again, I looked very fetching with my blue fingers and toes when I got home!

OS stuff today will be more sorting of the kitchen, general cleaning and tidying, washing the sleeping bags that the kids have dumped in the bathroom for some reason - couldn't they have given them to me before now rather than stuffing them under their beds cos stuff had been spilled on them?! Will also be coming up with some meal inspiration I hope, run out of steam a bit and need to get going again on making interesting and appetising dishes!

Hugs to all who need one, going to catch up with a coffee in a mo and see what I've missed recently xx

Remmie - hugs to you xx

MMM - hope that it is good news with your job xx

Julie - lots of good wishes to you and your dd and dgs xx

Bitsy - my ds was a holy terror as a tot, in fact I met someone recently who I used to go to toddlers with when he was little and she couldn't believe that I'd had any more after him!!!!! He was also a biter, he sunk his teeth into my bare shoulder one day after I'd lifted him out of the bath and it hurt so much that I threw him away from me, thankfully he landed on a pile of washing (sometimes my slatternly ways are a godsend!), he did eventually stop! Now he is the most reliable and helpful of my children, and for a 16 year old is remarkably good most of the time! I live in hope that he got it all out of his system when he was younger! xx

jc - good luck with the jobs and report writing, I do some but never quite that many in such a short space of time! I hope that things pick up for you soon, and what a bit of luck about your neighbour having a spare f/f, at least it is one less thing to worry about immediately - keep an eye on freecycle or put in a request is my suggestion, people seem to get rid of them a lot round here xx

redruby - I'd have a quiet sit down if I were you, make the most of the peace for a bit! xx

Hi, a beautifully sunny, but cold day here. It is so nice to get some daylight! DS1 came home from school yesterday and announced that he needed to go dressed up as something Spanish to Beavers at 5.30:eek:. I managed to make him a matadors outfit, but if I had had more time I could have decorated it to make it look more realistic.

I've got nothing done so far today as I went to a friends new house for coffee. I've got to drop the HIP report for our new house at the solicitors. It is moving very slowly as we need a structural engineer's report next. We're trying to save as much money as possible at the moment, which is getting me down slightly. I'm not a big spender normally, but the minute I know I shouldn't buy any luxuries i seem to want to:cool:

Hugs to all that need them

I made a chicken pie this morning then fell asleep on the sofa. I did make the pie in the kitchen not on the sofa:rotfl:

Was woken up by a call from the estate agent saying the people who viewed the house the other day have offered the full asking price:eek: So do I cancel the ones tomorrow or let them come and hope for a bidding war:D
The ones who have made the offer have sold their own house and want to move quickly. We haven't found anything yet. Mind you maybe we would have done if we had looked:o

    Hi everyone,

Have the John Barrowman fans seen that he's got a forthcoming part in Desperate Housewives, apparently as someone nasty!

Re: biters, dd once bit my forearm so hard she burst a blood vessel and I had a huge blister come up on it. I don't think she ever did it again.

Well I was back to the hospital today for my pre-op assessment and have to go again on Wednesday to see the anaesthatist, it's costing me a fortune in petrol and car parking. I'm a bit worried because they took a swab to test for MRSA in my nose and said the op would be cancelled if it was positive and after the number of times I've visited hospitals in the last twelve months it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's positive.

Hopefully the weather will be nice this weekend so we can get in the garden, but we also want to continue decorating.

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

I would let the others come & look, unless the first ones asked for it to be taken off the market (a la Phil & Kirsty!)

Sometimes it isn't worth looking before you have an offer in case you fall in love but can't progress as you haven't got a buyer.
