    You'll be getting £400 a month jobseekers. Tax credits of £400 a month. Child benefit of £132 a month. There's £932 a month.

is jobseekers not like £60 a week?

For a single person yes, not a couple rate where neither is working.

actually i spoke with job centre yesterday n got told that even if fella found full time job, if it is minimum wage we would still have rent/council tax paid. we have only had council housing a year. i waited 9 yrs for a council place unlike the girl i know who just got new council flat as had a baby.
we used to pay private renting but had to move as unsafe for kids and we finally got council offer. we both had good paid jobs. night shift so couldnt go back to work when had kid as no1 to look after them as i worked with bf.
i HATE being on benefits coz of the way ur treated by others. im trying to get off it. looking at jobs to do from home as kids not at school, yet.

it is cheaper rent(for when we get jobs) , we cant afford private and def not afford to buy. i live in lovely bungalow in village. big garden for our hyper kids. we had hell getting this place. how could we get something else? just coz people in news seem to get big houses they dnt need doesnt mean we all do.

Ah ok fair enough, if you like it there i guess thats all that matters.

Its not like a lottery that you have to win to get a bigger posher house though,
you are automatically entitled to it instantly if you choose to live in one. :)

If you move down here you would automatically start getting £2,000cash per month, every single month, sent into your bank account by the council to pay towards you rent.

So all you have to do is find a nice stylish £2,000 per month rent place that you like, sign the contract to move in there,
and then just send of the form to the local council telling them your claim reference number and your new address,
and they will start paying you the £2,000 per month as you will legally and automatically be entitled to it.

but you are living in a property where you pay that rent every month
so you have a net gain of £0?

and where do you get the deposit for this £2k/month property?
up here that would be at least £3K upfront
