Have to slack,as brain gives up periodically. Not helped by the fact that OH is working at home today and has helpfully put on 2 loads of washing, and then put on heating full blast to dry them (it's damp outside). So now I keep falling asleep mid-sentence...0

well....its autumn. I've had to dig out pig lamp for the cats who were shivering and dog dog has her t shirt on....and is still cold. I can't find her fleece onesy.
I've also taken the decision to buy a tonne bag of salt/grit. It would be stupid to not take precautions and end up in traction....and it would cost us a fortune.0 -

DD's room almost finished. Decorating's never straightforward, all sorts of repairs become apparent once you get going. It's taken most of my spare time and energy - when I haven't been at work.
Love you all

serious question...is it something about the time of year that brings out conspiracy theorists? was caught for a while to day in awkward situation when someone with whom I have a ''relaxed'' business relationship started telling me that they were telling me because they liked me, and wanted me to make plans...about the Illuminati, the financial crisis and then something to do with the weather and my eyes glazed over while I struggled to think of something polite to say to extricate myself from the conversation. I have nothing against people who have these beliefs, just as I don't share political, religious or even ethical beliefs with many friends but....somehow I find it very uncomfortable talking bout this one, in a way I don't the others...why I wonder? My own closedmindedness I guess.0
