But this guy had ..... 6' bears. I swear. 6' high solid wood bears sculpted from wood with a chainsaw. Big grizzlies.

I know the size of the back of my car and I nearly bought one as a surprise gift for somebody ...

That was inconsiderate that he didn't have any bulls...
  • Tablet? Did someone say tablet?

Ohhhhhhhh yummy yummy yum! Now I want some!

Brings back memories of bleak and rainy cattle shows, where the best things were the highland dancers and whole stalls dedicated to selling all different shades of tablet.

The yummiest ones were those really pale ones, sort of a pale beige, or the really bright orangey brown ones. Yummy.

You know what this has done to me? I'm now going to have to make some. And it's a real pain to make. All that stirring.

Who said what about tablet, anyway? All I've read is what's on this page...

I've given you a few thanks over the last year or so.

When you get 9999 I'm going to go back over them and start "de-thanking" them to keep you just under.

    :D
    Genius!!!

Go back a couple of pages max and there is a link to a thread with lots of microwave recipes for it.

Dearest nearly, why do you want to cause me such pain? Knocking off my thanks score, telling everyone I dated Stanley Matthews :rotfl:....

Dave: can I borrow the digger? I need to do some hard landscaping. involving removing a flowering cherry that's growing in the wrong spot.

It's not my digger, and anyway, it's gone AWOL. I guess I'll get it back eventually, as I've a few trees that need moving too.

Its too early yet anyway. Last winter we moved a medlar and an apple with no problems though. The medlar was cut back to 1/3 of its size and it's still fruiting as if nothing happened.

I only keep medlars for their shape/leaves. A woman in the village will come and pick the fruit. If I'm unlucky I might get a pot of whatever she makes with it! :o

I love the way they call it 'The Atlantic Highway!' It's still the same twisty, crappy A39 it always was, especially near Bude. But then, over that way everything is 'Atlantic' this and that.

Over here it's bloody Tarka. I even saw Tarka Chimney Sweeps the other day. What has an otter got to do with sweeping chimneys?
