    Help!

Is this written in a foreign language?

I don't understand a word of it (except for the Dairy Milk, bit, obviously... ;)).

    Have you gone blonde carol?

Funny enough your not the first person to say that today :A...

The first line was the fact i was "flying" fuelled by a bottle of cabernet sauvignon and the time of the post.

    WOW = WOW

    NPT = nice peoples thread

page3 = page 3 of the debate, house prices & the economy board

The US looking for ways to blame BP for everything is a current trend.

And the bottom bit was just me talking to aliens :D;)

    Translation:

The nice people's thread had slipped its way down to page three of the forum. Terrible news! Worse news than the representation of BP by US politicians! Need to get it back on the front page and work as a team to keep it there with virtual chocolate as an incentive.

Hopefully that's earned my virtual Dairy Milk anyway.

    Thanks viva.

    Funny thought.

I'd look like a blonde version of Alistair Darling.

With dark eybrows and blonde hair. :p

But mentally - yes, clearly. :p

What a scary thought! Stay brunette whatever you do! And if your eyebrows are anything like those of Darling, may I suggest a little plucking, waxing or threading? He does look like he has two strips of black electrical tape for eyebrows.

Speaking of men with eyebrows that look like black electrical tape...

Thanks for the heads up there ssssssssss.

I almost missed the start of quali as I have been updating my trustee toolkit to look over some changes (boring).

I would like to see Webber win this year. I spent some of my formative years in Australia, so he's my NFF (non-Ferrari Favourite).

Hamilton needs to concentrate on keeping it on track and not knocking all his corners.

Help - I'm all at sea again.

And no - it's not a blonde moment - I can asure you that even with my hair at darkest black I couldn't make head nor tail of anything involving motorsport.

In my world, cars usefully get you from A to B, but beyond that, it's just another world to me...

Please allow me to indulge myself with a quick guide to motorsport for the uninitiated.

There are lots of different types:

You can drive fast in straight lines (drag racing)

You can drive fast on roads closed to the public (rallying)

You can drive fast in circles (but we'll leave that to the Americans)

You can drive fast on race tracks, but in cars that look like street cars (Touring cars)

You can drive fast on race tracks, but in cars that look like race cars (single seater racing) and if you are really fast, you can drive in the fastest formula of all (F1).

Or, according to biker friends, you can do a lot of this faster still on bikes (drag bikes, TT, GP2 etc, and for Sue, lets not forget Speedway).

You can't beat watching motorsports live. Its loud, its smelly, its totally unenvironmentally friendly and you can feel it through your whole body. The atmosphere is unlike anything else.

    I am such a Petrolhead.

Thanks - that's a total revelation. I thought F1 was it - I had no idea there was all this other stuff.

What a varied world we live in.

I think I have geezerbird tendencies, but definitely female...

Also, apologies to biker types, mean to say MotoGP not GP2. That's what happens when you aren't paying full attention due to watching motorsports.
