Misskool if you sort it all out and want an MSE nutter I'll try and get to your exhibition.
Maybe it means they can legitimatly say they've gone to the 'brary to study to their parents at this, the revision season? And then they meet up with friends?
... on the art exhibition thing, I would suggest... wetcanvas.com, and askI try at art, but I have the skills of a dead hedgehog.
... have you contacted your local museum? If its a local art group / school / club they are often willing to hold an exhibition for free.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Sound about as good as mine then! Kids keep telling me I can draw but to me they look like they have been drawn by a 3 year old. I'm ok on things with straight lines and did a passable copy of a Lowry but that is about it.
On what looks not bad, I designed the motif and colour scheme for my wedding..and the boys were very impressed seeing the invitation with it on last week (my brother kept his invitation from all those years ago...20 years ago now!)We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

That's a fair comment (though I doubt it knowing some of my locals as I do). The thought I might be getting down with da kids at the 'brary though is a scary one. That, by default, would make us 'brarians. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? the art isn't from me (well, not as such). I'm applying for funding for the concept so can't give too much out. We wouldn't need to sell the fund the exhibition (in fact, I doubt some of the pieces would merit a price tag).
Some ideas to mull over through there and now I need to find some artists. When it's funded I should be able to tell more. thanks all
An hour away... from LOndon you could get involved with the open houses in Brighton LINK ?
I am out of touch with E1 art gallerise but know The Truman are always renting out space. I will be back in touch as I move my studio back to Brick Lane (with the charity whom I rented from before so sans bus rates :j) next month so will have finger on the pulse...or rather see the relevant flyers and posters about.
Good luck with the venture.:)0 -

I wish I were artistic.
DH and I decided to try and paint dog-dog. So we went nd bought a huge cheap canvas from this works and after several failed attempts at skethes I made dog dog lay down on it, and now we have an outline.
That's about as far as we got, so far, we'll pull it out next time there is not much else happening.0 -
