    What is the game?

It is an adventure game and I now have 9 watchers but not one solitary bid.

I have also had a rather insulting question from a pixel asking me to describe the seal on the game.

I told her not to bid if she doubted the authenticity of the damn thing because I don't need the hassle.

All this for something I will probably get a tenner for.

Well, we have 2 potties listed ending today! OH only got round to photographing them today, so we only have 5 watchers on one and 2 on the other.

But people do buy them! We sold our DDs' potties (bright pink and at that point no longer available for sale new, for MORE THAN WE PAID FOR THEM NEW!!!

(Not knocking it, but personally, I stretched to new potties for my children. ;))

DS got new ones too, which we're now selling as we'd already sold his sisters' by the time he was born. But they would have been a bit strikingly pink for a boy, anyway...

The true cost, of course, is in the years of bribes to get them to use the damn things, and then transfer to the toilet.

Good luck with both our sales, ws!

People buy other peoples potties? Bliddy hell, it's a different world out there.

Do you get pointless, banal questions asking about things you already covered in your carefully crafted description?

I have a blackberry voice activated thingy I was going to list but I suspect answering the questions would drive me to depths of sarcasm previously unseen on ebay.

I usually get the postage costs totally wrong and end up making a loss!

Or I list things that don't sell and lose out to Ebay.

    I've done that too Silvercar.

My best sales came from some porcelain that I had picked up from a shop closing....yes, they were highly collectable but it still completely surprised me.

One 3 tier cake stand, cost me £3.20, sold for £140
One large meat platter, cost me £2.60, sold for £80
Plus several other bits and pieces...my total spend was around the tenner but total profit was over £300!

We also sold a very rare game for the Mega Drive on there...we got £65 for it and that was when Mega Drives were old news.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I've just offered some ivy that I'm pulling out like weeds on freegle and someone wants it.

    Just goes to show :)

I love the whole concept of freecycle (or freegle - can't get used to that name, still call it freecycle) - save money (like on here :)), be kind (ditto :)), save the planet - and cut out the middlemen/taxes/hours of labour to make/earn items.

    Win- win - win.

Almost like a retun to the days of bartering. Except you're a bit vague about what you get back, except assume something will turn up eventually - or at least you get good karma and some space in your house.

Oooh, you did well. I think our best 'sell' was our old, knackered rusty car - just v glad anyone wanted it. :)

Whilst hunting for tat to flog on fleabay I have found two sets of Christmas lights I didn't know I had, a Runrig CD I definitely didn't know I had and some photographs of an ex I was pretty sure I had binned.

I felt almost sentimental for a nanosecond.

But !!!!!! they were only a band.......
