Aw Jaysus, poor little Peter Rabbit.

My Da used to poach rabbits and my Ma would cook them and force us to eat them. All I can remember is the corpse looked like a cat and everything tasted greasy.

I love waste, adore it. I am fu cked if I will ever as much as look at a skinned rabbit again

Skinned rabbits unbutchered really put me of rabbit too. They look JUST like cats don't they? But I like rabbit, and they need to be controlled to a degree for the land. I'd rather eat than shoot and bin.

One of the pluses for the place we saw to day was I saw little evidence of rabbits but the most handsome huge hare. I love hares, and we have loads here, I'm worried I'll miss them a lot, so seeing one is a good enough sign for me atm.

Books...every book I have read during the past 3 years is here...loads of the dam things and 90% too good to throw out.
Does anyone want some very nice shabby chic furniture?

The extra quilts and blankets I will have to bin as, charity shop don't want second hand bed linen and my house in London is no way as cold and damp as this place...one 13 tog was always plenty...here, it was 2 X 13 togs, a 40's feather duvet and a cotton crochet throw.

    Don't bin! Join freecycle.

Second-hand bedding is often listed and always goes. People even list stuff like half-used bottles of shampoo (yeurgh!) and they go, too. So list! Someone will want your junk.

Plus I want your books...because we like books. But we need another house and lots and lots of shelves to put them on, unfortunately. We're back to having big piles of books again, as we've run out of shelves again... :(

Your house is obviously much cleaner than mine.

No, just my kitchen cupboards. :) I had ambitions to do the rest, but didn't get that far - resorted out the toy shelves downstairs, reorganised/sort of cleaned the girls' room and DS's room...that's enough.

    My room =

Don't even talk about bedrooms. I haven't ventured upstairs yet.

I found a huge box of Elizabeth Arden stuff I didn't even know I had. Lord knows where they came from

My cupboards are a mysterious place:cool:

OH god, i thought it was all fake and synthetic. Not that I buy anything with fur trim (not my style completely) but never realised it was from a real animal.

I had no idea about that.:(:o

This one is about dog fur though but same theme.

I could usually tell which was cat fur..you can feel the difference and I have seen loads of trim in the wholesalers (mostly on accessories lke scarves or necklaces) that I guessed were cat. The cats are bred for the fur so not a waste issue.

Only 10% of the books are no good...and not worth reading really.

I am signed up to freecycle but 2nd hand bedding? Are you sure people want it?

Most of it will be fake and labelled as 'Acrylic' usually but a lot of trim is real and do you know what? I have no idea what it would be labelled as....I guess real fur like real leather?

Most common products to have cat fur are gloves with fur cuff trim, those scarves with poms poms and necklaces with asst beads and things plus the odd pom pom. Also hoods with fur trim from cheaper pleaces like markets.
