Fair enough, I hadn't considered that. Maybe time to start an item not received
You can only do that 7 days after purchase and if the items aren't due to arrive tomorrow at the earliest I doubt she is able just yet

Looking at the seller. They have been very good before this so I would think that something has happened and ebay isn't a priority at present. If the items don't arrive in reasonable time I would consider requesting details from ebay and phoning before opening a dispute.

Didn't she say 10 days ago? Requesting details and phoning might be good before going heavy handed.

A wild guess but it looks as though his drop shipping company has lost the plot.

Although it could look like something has happened to this seller, the last two negatives he's received say something about a refund being given by paypal then the seller putting in an non payment claim. So it looks like he's still around.

Most DVD sellers left on eBay are droppers - and given that another major DVD whoelsaler has gone under recently, I'm sure this is the first of many sellers to go with them.

The negative feedback bandwagon effect. Other people have left negs, therefore I'm doomed unless I also leave a neg as soon as possible. Judging by the comments, these do look like the typical screamers. It's a DVD they have not received and will be refunded via paypal, not somebody stealing their life savings.

It's only my opinion, but I tend to leave feedback at the very end when all other options and communications have been exhausted. have you tried phoning them? Details are here - http://cgi3.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=alongnano

As for being a top rated seller - well they've only had 300 sales in the past year, which indicates that they have only got there by mathematical fluke, rather than outstanding service.

the feedback was excellent on day of purchase and he is a top rated seller
Ive spent nearly 100 pounds and am panicking, ok!
the address is fake, ie no seller with that name
phone number goes to a t mobile answering service which says mailbox full.

ok so it is too early to leave one, the item was bought 10 days ago by second class and although seller says up to 18 days in automated dispatch email all my other items bought on same day (bought a lot) sent 2nd class have arrived however I wasn't worried until read feedback.
If you look through the positives there's none at all for any expensive box sets

what do you mean the address is fake?

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

I agree, address checks out perfectly to me as a split house (shows as flat numbers when the rest of the street is single dwelling properties). So why does oP believe the address is fake if RM think it is fine?

I tend to agree with Steve, I wonder if this is a seller gone into meltdown after the collapse of a drop shipper.
Personally I would deal with this calmly, as long as OP paid by paypal through ebay then their money is safe. As soon as day 7 arrives put in a paypal chargeback for item not received. After 10 days the money should be returned automatically (if not give paypal a ring) , at that point feedback should be left.

My only other point is that seller was not likely to last long anyway drop shipping with no declaration he was doing it. He states a 3 day shipping time yet according to oP changes that to 18 days in his automated emails, that is a sign of someone who is really completely out of their depth. An email telling me my goods would take 18 days would have had me starting a paypal chargeback on day 7 anyway and would probably have got me thinking about a neutral even if everything else checked out OK. If you are going to take 18 days to ship something then warn people before you take a bid, and watch all your buyers go elsewehere.
