Which did you think had the best nightlife?
It depends on a lot of things but probably Miami. I stayed at South Beach though where all the nightlife is. Are you really choosing somewhere to live based on the nightlife though? Surely you won't want the same kind of nightlife forever. Miami has the best clubs but San Francisco probably has better restaurants and culture.0 -
Marbella and Puerto Banus have a similar lifestyle to what you are looking for.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

There is no need for that blatant dig at me. Forum members are meant to be polite to each other, so Exel you can take you worthless comments and move onto another post!Judging by some of Outlaws criteria and way of thinking I'd be surprised if he/she was old enough to catch a bus alone, let alone jump on a plane and emigrate

This is a wind up isn't it??The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

I have visited San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Orlando, New York, Connecticut & New Brunswick (Canada) and I can honestly say that they are all fantastic holiday destinations but I'm pretty sure that I could not live in any of them.
My sister has lived in America since 1982, hence all the USA trips, and my husband is Canadian (we got married in Canada) so I would probably have less hoops to jump through if I wanted to live in Canada. I guess we have had slightly different holidays than the norm... staying in my sister's or in-laws' houses rather than hotels, and so seeing the day-to-day lifestyle and not eating in restaurants breakfast, dinner & tea.
The best piece of advice I and some of the others have given is to go for a visit and see it for real. Oh, and bear in mind the earthquakes on the west coast and hurracaines on the east coast!
