California or Miami?

Thank you Mr Lahey for your fantastic Insight. However you forgot to mention which state has the better nightlife but?
Nightlife..... Hmmm, California.
Although it depends, i would rather go to a restaurant or a sports bar and get hammered than go dancing in a club. But the best clubs are probably in Los Angeles (or San Francisco if you prefer the tradesmen's entrance) But don't let that put you off Miami, they have some fantastic clubs. The Summer Holiday of a Lifetime0 -
Quite suprised be your answer to be honest. I heard the clubs down in South Beach are as good as anywhere in the world?Nightlife..... Hmmm, California.

Yes of course I will thats kinda the intial plan, its so hard to pick which place to go first however Cali or Miami, especially when you constantly hear good things about both states. This is your problem - you are basing everything on hearsay!
Why not take a holiday, and make your own opinions?0 -

Unless you would choose to holiday there anyway, I personally would find out if I was eligible to emigrate to the States before setting off on a holiday to decide if I would like to live there.0 -
I have been to both on holiday but would never want to live there. At a push, maybe San Francisco as it has the 'city' vibe I like. LA would be awful, San Diego maybe ok but too small and the same with Miami. But I know too many Americans who don't want to live in the US at all and I agree. Even if you get a visa etc think about the fact that health insurance is a must and even if you get ill it will not necessarily cover you for what you need (or wait 10 years for Obama to get his watered down health care reform through).
Moving countries is a big hassle (I have done it 3 times) and it seems to me you have some fantasy idea about what it would be like based on movies or something. If you haven't even been to those places it is very difficult to decide what suits you. Go on an open jaw ticket to both, or if you have a few years go to one state first for 3 weeks and then the other the next year. Even then, a holiday is nothing like living in a place, trust me.0 -

Brits arent allowed to emigrate to the US unless they have married a us citizen, have loads of money or are an IRA sympathiser.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

I've seen some bollox talked on here but this is uninformed ignorance at its finest :wall:0 -
Judging by some of Outlaws criteria and way of thinking I'd be surprised if he/she was old enough to catch a bus alone, let alone jump on a plane and emigrate
