Hi guys,
Does anyone know of any discounts for the London - Edinburgh overnight sleeper train?
I am looking to travel one way on Friday 21st October and its for 2 x adult passengers sharing a cabin. We would like to stay in the cabins with beds and not the recliner chairs (as have heard these are rather uncomfortable for such a long journey!)
Any help on cheap fares or discounts for this date would be hugely helpful!
Thanks so much in advance0 -

If there is nothing on the scotrail website then you could probably phone up for any cancellations but its far too late IMO to be getting any better deals.
If you want there is the first train out of KX on the sat for £85.50 for 2 or the next one at £66.40 for 2.
all depends if you want to get there early or midday really."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
Hi.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any discount codes for Family Railcards at the moment? Or any other offers?
Hoping to travel from Coventry to London (and back!) on Friday 21st October. 2 adults and 4 children.
Thank you. :-)0 -

You can get that fare right down to £39.40 too if you take the 0901 from cov and return on the 1954 from london. using London midland only though. You can bring that price down even further if you get the 2146 back but i think this may be too late if you have kids."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

How many of you? Do you have any kids? Do you have any railcard?"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
Sorry Jeff - 2 adults, no kids (on a weekend away? not a chance!) and no railcard.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

Last year the Telegraph ran a promotion for reduced price first class travel in December does anyone know when it started and have any ideas if they are likely to run it again? Wanting to book for early December but will kick myself if they run this just after I have booked!!0

Looking at roughly £86 without any splits going via York from Manchester.
There are a variety of ways to do this journey though from going via Glasgow too so maybe have a mooch around with the national rail website for journey directions and then look at splitting along the way at Glasgow or York."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
