Afternoon!
I've just had a long undisturbed shower and time to get dressed and smother myself is lovely lotions and potions and dry my hair while Amber slept and feel greatWell, headache is still there not even co-codomol are suppressing them anymore, but apart from that, great
I had all 3 up at some point last night. Got to be about 12.30, then had michael up wandering about at 1, chris sick at 2 (so he isn't ill since it's 3rd night) and then Amber was up screaming since 4, got her settled again at 7 then she wanted breakfast at 8.30. Think she has a tooth coming, a molar by the looks of it. Lots of drool, refusing to sleep, screaming at everyone.
Just going to catch up online for 15mins or so then I need to get this house tidied so we can hea doff out tomorrow when DH is off again.0 -

Hello all,
Always - lots of hugs for you and your family x x
Congratulations Molly & Edgar :T Clever babas!
Aless - did you win the sling? Get well vibes for poorly Finn too.
Elle - glad your enjoying your break.
We're having a quiet day, I really need to tidy the front room as it's stuffed to bursting point with play mats, bouncer, swing, jumperoo etc etc and it's driving me daftWe seem to have had a slight success with a bottle too! Well, she didn't scream when I put it in her mouth and she drank a couple of sips which is a huge improvement, the only problem is I'm finding expressing nigh on impossible. I've tried by hand, manual and elec pump and got 1oz which took forever. We've not got any left in the freezer either as it's all been used trying to get her to take a bottle. Would it be worth me taking fenugreek tablets for a few days to try and boost my supply a bit?

SJ if I'm coming on Wed would you like me to bring any slings for you to try? I'll probably be wearing Isla as it's easier for me than the pram anyway.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

Missed it before but Well Done Edgar!!!
I didn't have a nap earlier but as soon as Alfie's finished feeding I'm off to bed. Getting a headache now so hopefully a rest will sort it.
Tia hope yours eases (although from your post sounds like it's a long standing problem) Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight too - you must be knackered!

What are these Zebras!! Is it that sit and spin Zebra? I thought they were only about £25, who said they are £50
Bruno - To me, 3 days wasn't even a big deal when Keira was 20months, what I personally struggled with was when she was an infant because they are so demanding then and I'll get slated here but HIGHLY BORING. Now obviously every child is different, but at 20months, I couldn't think of anything more I'd rather do than spend the day with Keira. Yes they can get irritating, especially when they won't sleep  or are poorly etc, but to me, from things you have posted before about your OH, it does sound like something isn't right (depression etc) I'm not clued up on it though, but I guess it depends on how demanding E is aswell.
I didn't have any friends when Keira was that age and I rarely left the house, this was during my extreme self loathing period, I saw my mum about once a week and that was it, before that Keira's dad had been at home all day every day because he had been made redundant, and whilst I did struggle with the lonliness etc, I don't think I have ever sat in the corner and cried with frustration?
I am terrible with words here, but to me it sounds like there is something underlying with your OH. Maybe just a break is all she needs, I remember before you have said your wife is a writer? So maybe she is not adapting well to not having her quiet/thinking/alone time?! So maybe that will help everything
I really hope I haven't written that in a bad way!!0 -
SS, you are far too dedicated to this diet malarky. What about Easter??
I don't celebrate it
Mercifully the batteries in my wii fit board died, I'm sweaty and tired after the just dance workout (note to self: cover mirrored wardrobe before dancing at all future dancing; looking ridiculous is distracting).
Situps then shower, then I'm hunting down a fabric purchase and possibly making a new one. Does anyone sew, and does anyone have an online fabric store they'd recommend?
Edit: I meant to say, thanks for looking ladiesOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Boo yes I'm coming Wednesday and I'd love to try a wrap of some kind if that's ok? :A
I was thinking of bringing A in the Joey but not sure I want to sit and hold him while we eat. Might just do that though as my pram is too big!0 -
No worries SJ, I'll bring a wrap with me.
SS - these are some shops I use and some that are reccommended on another forum.

Is it something in particular your looking for? Etsy has some lovely fabrics too.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
boogelly - you give me hope that Finn will one day stop screaming at the bottle too! :T also, I did win my ring sling - it's a Freedom Sling so I'm very excited as one drawback of the mei tai is no forward-facing carry.
SS, you had inspired me to do some abdomen exercises, except as soon as I lay down on the floor, coughing fits prevented from staying there long enough to even do 1! I think I may blow up the gym ball I used in pregnancy as those are supposed to be good for core muscles, no?top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
