DKAM his reaction is totally normal and you're doing a great job. He just needs a little extra care and attention right now, as do you after what you've all been through.
It must be really hard for you, but please try and remember that although this bit is awful, it would be worse for him in the long run if you hadn't taken him out of the situation when you did. You've done the right thing, and although the short term consequences are difficult he'll grow into a better man as a result.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I fel like such a failiure that they have to be called in but I don't know what else to do.
He's such an angry little boy, he headbutted me in the dcotors the other day and shouted at me so bad that I just sat there and (tried to) descreetly cried. What sugar said is so true, he'll get better and this will all be a distant memory soon xxx

I used to have a blue metal one that I adored. Wonder if there the same?
Clothes wise we have a mix of 2nd hand, knitted and new the last 2 being mainly gifts. For me the important thing is the clothes are nice and in good nick, not where they came from or how much.

Fine thanks, William is getting bigger by the day and Henry is being a good big brotherTalking of hand me downs, I had a little red metal trike when I was 3. It went to my aunty to be use by four cousins, then back to Mum after 16 years for my little sister. Since then it's been used by my big two, and is in Mums shed ready for V, 35ish years later. We're not snobs! :rotfl:
We used the crib for Henry and William that my mum had new for my brother who was born in 1966 (44 yrs). One of the prams we have my sister had for her kids ( my niece is 11 in a couple of weeks) and we are using loads of my nephews clothes for William which I previously used for Henry as well.Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
You have nothing to feel guilty about - you've done your best for your boys and for yourself and that's your job as a mummy. The SS (I do find it really weird that SS can mean me or the meanies
) are trying to make sure your littlie gets the extra care and attention he needs right now, they're trying to help him, not intrude, and it's no reflection on you that he needs the extra help.
That other mummy would pish me off too. I was quietly raging this morning when Molly woke up after nobody had barely any sleep and she needed feeding and changing and dressing and entertaining, but I did it because I'm Mama, and that's what Mama does.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I was always dressed in hand me downs or knitted garments. Every photo of me as a kid I'm wearing hideous leggings of some sort (usually brown with/without flowers/swirls) basically looked like carpet! Probs was lol, and the jumper would of been some knitted thing, I remember a fred flintstone one
Traumatised!!
Its really sunny here today, mum just dropped Keira off not long ago and I said to her "Lets go to the park" and she said "Later mummy, I'm too sleepy!" By the time she has rested, it will be bucketing off rain I bet!
I bought new things for Keira when I was pregnant as I didn't know anyone to get 2nd hand stuff off, I overbought as I got loads of clothes from people, and my mum was like "Oh you need loads when they are little" No you dont! You need a few packs of vests, babygrows and bibs!
I remember my mum used to moan at me for not dressing Keira, and I was like, erm why, Im not going outside today, shes not a doll....why dress her up for the sake of it? Bit silly.0 -
