Ewwwwww just moved position and my fronts all wet from my section scar.
Do c-section scars weep when healing or could it be an infection?
Its not smelly and its clearish liquid just a fair bit of it. Grrr more things to worry about.

Really? I found they were digging into J's legs so put him in the 4's. He was 16lbs about 4 weeks ago and we've been in the 4's for about 6 weeks.
The 4's are crap at night though - think its because in the 3's the wee collects around the whole nappy but the 4's it just collects at the front.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

ThankyouRhys' room buddy is about two pounds smaller than him so I can always pass them on to him if Rhys suddenly gets a big butt
I've become so MSE about nappies and wipes - must get the best deal, refuse to buy them at anywhere near full price, etc etc  Shame I'm rarely like that about anything else!(or maybe I just don't notice and it's easier just to Google compare the price of a toy, than all the supermarket deals..).
I was just thinking too... particularly first timers, having used disposables for a while now, are you anymore likely to use reuseables next time? (I've just emptied the nappy bin and had a flash of landfill awareness!) I think I would consider it, particularly after the newborn stage..

Mine did a bit, but I think it was more sweat than anything else. Keep and eye on it and call your MW or GP if you're worried.0 -
yes, use resusables!!! I've found that they're far less scary and far less EFFORT than you imagine them to be. Honestly I don't think it takes us any longer or is more a PITA per nappy change. We still use reusables at night, mostly because I'm lazy and b/c we still swaddle Finn & to change his nappy at night would involve unswaddling & reswaddling, which would wake him up too much (so a disposable lasts him the whole night right now). It's funny, because I know the second DH has cheated and used a dispossy when he's not supposed to as Finn's bum looks so small!
The biggest faff is laundry, but even that's not that bad...I do it every 2-3 days for him and I figure I'd spend the same amount of time looking for/buying nappies.
Next sale online was crap as well. Am a bit annoyed because I missed the Boxing Day one (for obvious reasons) so haven't had a chance to get any clothes for a while!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Arrgghh!! I coulda had a reasonable nights sleep if it weren't for OH grr! First he fidgets so much that all the fitted sheet came off the matress and made me get tangled up and uncomfy (couldnt wake him to put it back!). Then he snored for about 2 hours keeping me awake
He sleep so soundly its starting to wind me up! I know he cant help when am feeding but when I get up at 8 am he then stays in bed for anything up to another hour when the dog needs walking, and in the afternoon evening he falls asleep too. I actually think he gets more sleep now than before baby and I'm tired and grotty and he doesnt get it. Dont get me wrong when he's awake he's really lovely and helps as much as I could ask, cooks, cleans, hands me things while feeding, cuddles Tahlie when she's grotting and even changes her. Its sad but I think Ill be glad when he goes back to work on Monday cos at least I know he'll be outta bed at 6am, altho am kinda nervous about being on my own and how I'll get anything done. Oops sorry that turned into a rant!
Anyhoo have a sticky eyed baby girlonly cleaned it an hour and half ago and its all gunked up again. Bought some nipple sheilds yesterday to use temporarily and hopefully give my nips some relief as Tahlie is such a monster feeder there taking a battering and I dont wanna give up as she does seem to have the hang of it. Woke up this morning after 4 hours sleep to find one of my breast pads totally flooded and had to change my bra, desperatley need to get some descent sleep bras the ones I have altho they say there a 42/44 and Im 38 ish atm are way too small and very uncomfy, anyone have any good recomendations?
Very impressed with those of you wh've been to the next sale already! Mil has gone into town today so will see if she comes back with anything, sounds really ungrateful but hope she doesn't we had so many clothes given to us (fortunatley in various sizes), that we're running out of storage space!
Kindof - hope you have a lovely day out, am too chicken to go out for more than 2 1/2 hours at a time atm, not embaressed to feed in public just find it hard to get comfy at home sometimes so worried it'll be a nightmare out and about. Hope you can find a nice sling
elle - awnted to make the most of the sainsburys offer like you, am in the same boat not knowing how many more size 1 I need and they dont do size 2 in the Nature care, and dont wanna start on the size 3 buying!
nikkit - boo at your doc.
Maz - hope Henry gets seen quickly and its not as bad as you think xBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Som, have you put EBM in Tahlie's eye? Should help clear up sticky eye-ness
Also, I never wore sleep bras, I wore nursing vests from Mothercare in bed(ETA:  Just remembered where you work!

i eventually got to bed at 5.30 this morning, Erin screamed all night and was sick everywhere. She has a red raw bum too which isnt helping her cryingWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
Som- I find it comfier to wear a nursing vest in bed and no bra. It holds the pads in place but is not so restrictive. I got that tip from the lovely Elle!
Maz- hugs for you and Henry. It so wasn't your fault, he was just being a boisterous toddler.
Kindof- have fun today and don't wear yourself out too much.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
