My HV is always asking round about questions about OH.
When I talked to her about the constant night waking the first thing she said was 'Is Dad doing his bit?' I said 'No but he works full time so I don't expect him to until I go back to work' and she was asking all sorts of questions about my emotional state - she's always looking for something that isnt there!
Should be interesting actually because OH finished his contract end of June and then if he gets onto GTP he will have July & August off - shame J is booked into nursery full-time might see if they will allow part -time. But it will be interesting to see if OH will get up with him in the night
He is still asleep and I've done hardly anything except ring up about mortgage and car insurance and clean the bathroom! :eek:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Mine asked me various questions about Alice to fill in some forms, gave me info about baby clinics, weighed Alice, and asked me if my husband was beating me.
At my booking in i was asked if me and OH were related :rotfl:
They asked us again at our wedding license interview

Sami,
Re: JLS concert. I know its not the same, but does Chris like either McFly or the Saturdays, apparently they are on at Haigh Hall in the summer. So open air, not as enclosed, may be better for Chris. But obviously six months earlier. Not sure exactly when its on, but was in a leaflet Joe came home from school with, with events and stuff for kids to do in Wigan & Leigh.0 -
Been to town this morning, paid the mortgage - waiting now for work to pay me what they owe me! My boss is useless! I think that's the only thing I won't miss if I don't go back.
Need some milk and bread but CBA to go back out to the shops.
DH saw the extra 2 willow tree ornaments last night that I bought off ebay. He was moaning that I spent some money when we're supposed to be saving. He asked how much they were and I said £27 for both. He thought I was fibbing so I went on ebay and showed him, to which he said 'no it's ok I believe you'. So I told him they were the last 2 as I now have 7 and no room for any more! I said 'so you won't be going out tomorrow night then' (his mate rang yesterday to see if he's going out and DH told him he might). Well that shut him up. I said at least I've got something to show for what I've spent!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -

My gorgeous hubby let me lie in till half nine this morning so I feel fab. Makes up for the fact that he didn't get me a birthday card or pressie from Henry.
I love all this wedding talk. Tara, I totally think you can do it in 10 weeks. My best friend is getting married on 5th June, my Mum got married on 6th June last year and the weather was amazing (on the Isle of Wight). I agree M&S are fab for cakes, Debenhams have some lovely Bridesmaids and Bridal style dresses. If you have fairly 'normal' size fingers then you shouldn't have to wait too long for rings to be re-sized.
I have a beautiful deep red wedding dress you would be welcome to borrow if you didn't want white, although it would probably be too big for you (size 14, but with room for biggish boobies in the top)!
Ooooooooooooo!:A
NMS, lovely piccy!!! :AToo many children, too little time!!!0 -
