She has been making me laugh this morning - she keeps helping herself to things form the kitchen cupboard - just brought me a box of chocolate fingers to open for her (they are now on a shelf out of her reach :rotfl:Mummy 1 baby 0).

:rotfl:I had to fit a lock to the under-sink cupboard yesterday because the most enjoyable thing in the world is emptying cupboards.

She wasn't happy this morning when she came out to open it and couldn't. :p

Lady - there is an episode of peppa pig where they do to the dentist, it made chris really excited about going :D

I have the health visitor coming today, anyone know what she will do? its his ten day check? will they weigh him?
Mine asked me various questions about Alice to fill in some forms, gave me info about baby clinics, weighed Alice, and asked me if my husband was beating me.

A lot of the mums at our school are older than me, have one or two children and are a bit stuck up, saying that I do talk to quite a few mums there in pre-school, infants and juniors:)

I don't generally watch daytime tv so didn't see the abortion lady....I have seen a video of the procedure, it is an awful thing to go through.....if every girl was shown that video in school they may be a bit more careful. On the flip side of the coin I do have a friend who has had one and, knowing her reasons, makes me torn on the whole subjetct!

I have just been looking at the area we are going to on Monday, and showing dh, who hasn't even seen it yet. I booked it and just told him about it awhile back but he didn't really take any interest at the time......Good job he trusts me;)
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

I'm the same as you, I am against them (Unless there has been rape involved) but my best friend had one and her reasons made me torn too.

I think they need to lower the limit on it

    :D Thank you.

BUT, isn't the wedding bit a secret?
So bring a dish, photographer for a christening would work, but would you have to tel friends cousin, DD's friend that tables/flowers are for a wedding and not just a christening?

EA Have you picked/got your dress but just not tried it on yet because of bump?

The idea, if it's a good one, would be to say it's on a Saturday because after the Christening there will be an engagement party,so no pressies or cards just bring food?
Oh wedding talk :) lovely, but makes we wish I could do it all again... I still have my dress in the loft - Tara - you want me to pop it on the Fairy Exchange :rotfl:

Fab list! I needed shoes for my dress alteration so you might need to bump that back to the 6 weeks list (and bridal underwear ;))

If you don't fancy doing the bring a plate idea - we used Sainsburys and M&S party food. Looked great for a cold buffett (we got married aboard so only had a evening reception) and had lots of good comments. You just need someone on pickup duty on the day.

EA - hows the planning going? I can't believe your getting married so soon after having Lily :). I love, love, love the cupcake idea.

Dress, no idea, gonna have to sort something. I'm a size 14 so open to ideas! :A
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
