Omg, i just sold mine on ebay last week! :o but i sold mostly b,c i didn't like it, but also b,c i knew there were some questions about that style of sling. It was a present from my sis who doesn't have kids...:o crap, i wonder if i shld tell the buyer? But will they expect a refund?

Personally, I'd email them. I don't think I'd be able to forgive myself if anything happened.

I had one, I've donated it to my local Sling Meet so they can show Mums what isn't safe.

I will send them the link to the story. Luckily it didn't sell for much so even if they somehow get ebay to make me do a refund, a baby's life is worth more than a few quid!! really terrible...

    Oh that' grim :(

I had a sling with Keira, don't even know what type as I got it from someone and never used it. I was too paranoid she'd fall out of it

I just elbowed one of those Mcdonalds coca cola glasses off the draining board, onto the floor it smashed, and into Karen's foot it went. I just mopped my kitchen floor aswell, it's all blood speckled and I have no plasters :rotfl:

Those glasses are jinxed Im sure, the blue one broke apart in the sink when I was washing it and had my hand in the glass, nice lovely scar I have on my finger now

I will book my tickets for Edin soon. Gimmie until payday (tomoz) and then I will do it :D

    Kieren has tooth number 2!

Arrrrgggghhhhh!!! Instant headache lol Just registered on the BB forum and the sigs and what not do my head in! Totally not needing to be that size! Its so distracting!
An avvy and a wee text siggy is all you need surely??
I used to go on a couple of other forums but stopped cos the page ends up full of photos with about 3 lines of text lol

That'll teach me for 'straying' I suppose! Saw a few names from the pregnancy thread I recognised

Aless, Infantino have recalled them here too, you can return it to infantino and they will replace it with a choice of items (theres 3 different carriers and a couple of other things to choose from) If I was you I'd email the buyer and point her in the direction of the infantino website.

SJ If you come round this week, bring my slingrider with you so I can return it.

EDIT aless you could offer to refund her and return it yourself, one of the carriers they are offering as a replacement is going for £35 on ebay at the mo.

  • Hello ladies and gents,
Fishfinger has been on FF for 24 hours now and she is much much much more alert and awake than I have ever seen her. I've taken loads of pictures of her with her eyes actually open as some people were begining to ask if she actually had eyes lol. Not sure if it helps anyone but you can get 40 free prints from Tesco if you upload them online and have them sent to a local store for pick up.
I brought one of those luxury note books with handmade paper etc when I was about 6 months pregnant to turn into her memory book. It may also have given me an excuse to go through my stash of papers and stickers lol, allthough I'm sure I could accidently go into Hobbycraft in route to Tesco for the pics.
I have £7 of clubcard vouchers to splurge.
Midwife came round to weigh her and she is now 6lbs 7.5oz so she has lost 7.5oz in 5days which isn't to bad I think. She said it was well within the limits and then did the evil heel !!!!! test thing. I was a wuss and couldn't watch lol my protective mothering side is definately comming in.

when you put the plug sockets in they become live!!! whereas if kids stuck something into the open socket they would be fine as it needs to have the 3 prongs to make it live. there is a youtube video on it!
 I wonder why they don't make them with only 2 prongs them
