Fab pics of Erin and Kester

Caz, I would meet up with him but definitely without the children until you were certain of his motives ......

We ventured out of the countryside today into the City to see our gorgeous newborn niece and loads of other family. I am sooooo tired now so I have just started to sip a cheeky glass of red wine and it is not even 6pm :rotfl:. I have some expressed milk so I think I might even have another later

Caz, I would maybe go see him on my own, but not take the kids, not until I was 100% sure he would be a positive addition to their lives. If he were any other man would you give him another chance or is it just some silly 'blood is thicker' notion? Because thicker isn't always good, it just makes a bigger mess.

I agree, otherwise they could end up going through the same feelings as you. I met mine 5yrs ago, glad I did but he really wasn't worth the effort! :(

thanks you all for your input, its a hard decision to make as if i hadnt heard anything i wouldnt have went out my way to contact him. he has done a lot of horrible things in his time and i was present and remember most of them so it wasnt my mum putting stories in my head etc.
i have his mob number and his email address so think i may send him an email and that way he wont have my number or know where i live etc. he also doesnt know my married name which also helps!

On a brighter note i have sold lots over the past 2 days and have made enough to buy my new car without having to touch the money in the bank:D does that mean the car is essentially free?? oh and a nice man came to pick up my tv as he has the same one with a different problem lol!

ok ladies i need some advise from you all, i stopped seeing my real dad when i was in high school as he was an idiot and tried to take me off the school bus and take me away. he has tried a few disappearing acts when we were little and also tried to kill himself and us in the car. Just after we were married i had a meet up with him to try and get a relationship but as soon as i met up i had warning bells that told me to stay clear and back off. He lives in London and has never paid a penny to CSA or done anything to support us as we grew up, my step dad carried out his role and i love him to pieces for this.
Anyway real dad has been in contact with my mum through a site, he wants to meet us and meet the kids, its a big wedding anniversary for my grandparents and i would love to go but i dont know what to do. He has said he would love to meet the grandkids but i feel he isnt their grandad and i know this would hurt my step dad. my head is saying stay away with HUGE warning bells and my heart is saying one more chnace. i have a lot going on right now and dont know if i could cope with all this at the moment. i know you lot will give me your honest opinion hence me asking and needing reassurance x

Did I read this right that he wants to meet you all at a wedding anniversary? If so and there will be lots of other people there I would go and just say hello - duty done - then enjoy the party by mixing with those you do like and you don't have to see him again, let him see your fine without him in your life.

My voice is still missing and Katie is taking is full advantage, she is being very cute my mum and I went out for lunch today to a local garden centre where she spotted a soft toy she wanted but I distracted her by saying it’s Easter soon and to wait for the Easter Bunny, not happy but it worked but all we heard about all afternoon was this toy. Thankfully mum made it back to the garden centre just before closing and got it for her.

Katie is super tired today though late night at a party, an early morning, church and shopping this afternoon.

Citroen Grand Picasso, a lie back, I've considered a Jane buggy but it seems they are not very upright in the sit up position. The Britax Beep but the dimensions I'm not sure of, the Petite Star but mixed reviews. The City Micro Jogger but again it's the size. Graco do a small fold one and so do Mothercare, just worried I end up with tat! :o
