Beenie, what else have you got left to do? :) So cute that DS will keep Amber occupied :D

OH is home. Not happy cos there's been another theft at work (expensive kit stolen from an emergency vehicle) so likely that it's more employees who can't be trusted! :(

He's taken Rhys who got that glazed look as soon as OH picked him up and he was sparko on OH's shoulder before he sat down again! (not jealous at all, honest!).

I'm having breakfast/lunch then off to town :)
  • I love the piccies - we need to take some more but I can never get any in focus, as this little madam never stays still. I might just have to take pictures while she sleeps!

Charlotte did well this morning. Craig took her through to see his grand parents and put a pull up on her just in case!

When he got there, his Grandad asked if they could pop along to B&Q as he needed some wood and couldn't manage it on the bus. Charlotte said she wanted to stay with his Gran, so he left her behind. While he was out, she said she needed a wee and managed on their toilet with no baby seat. Chuffed to bits with her :D

Been to work and then got angry with B&Q. Bought the wrong sized lights so took them back for a refund on Thursday but they didn't have the bigger ones in stock. They lady said they were due to be delivered on Friday so to pop back over the weekend. Went back yesterday morning and they hadn't come in. She checked stock and said they had 9 in the Scotswood branch which is about 20 miles from here.

Checked stock online this morning and they were still showing as in stock, so I drove up there. The car park in that store is awful, but I managed to get parked. Went upstairs to lighting and the shelf was bare. Asked for help and a bored looking lad said they had no stock. I explained the other store and the website said they did have stock, so he checked on their system and it said no stock. Then he just said "you can never trust the website, it's never accurate" and wandered off

Came home and found them on a trade electrical suppliers website, and even with the postage, they are still £3 cheaper than B&Q, so at least I'll get the ones I want.
Here I go again on my own....

Haven't even started on the kitchen yet, so was gonna aim to gloss the woodwork (sob) and paint the ceiling (double sob) today so i can start on the papering tomorrow.

I'm not looking forward to it. All 5ft of me can't really move all 6ft of huge fridge freezer, mainly because the feet broke off and if i just pull it out it'll rip all the flooring up. So i haven't even stripped the wallpaper behind there yet either. Maybe i should do before and after pics lol. Literally took me all week to do the tiny passage, cos loads of glossing and fiddly papering rounnd doors and windows.

edit - oh and my plan failed already cos DS has just sneaked out the door to play with his mates :(
