I had parents evening too. Can she change back if she's not happy with it? I hate the top table stuff, makes the bottom ones feel like the class dunces! :( Erin is top but Ben is one up from bottom. DS1 was always bottom, if there had been a personality table he'd have been top! :D
I imagine if it doesn't work out they can switch her back... She did say earlier that her and Shannon used to swap places for maths anyway so it's not a completely new thing, just a bit more long term that 1 lesson...

Thats mad :rotfl:Thanks elle you can double check and confirm that this is right for us :D

Yup, it's right - they're 2 6pks for £8. Only problem is, they only had one pack in our store! :( Am sending OH in tomorrow on his way home from work ;)

On another MSE note, SMA (1, 2 and 3, but NOT hungry baby) is £6 a tin in Tesco until 10th March :) I got C&G Stage 1 as suggested which was £7.25 in both Sainsburys and Tesco. Don't know how much it normally is but it had a yellow SEL in Tesco.

I'm hoping so Tara... From what her teacher was saying, the other children on her table tend to be a bit know it all and Aimee won't listen to them when they try to tell her what to do (which is understandable...) whereas on the new table the children tend to work together well and seeing as Aimee doesn't listen to the teacher properly then she needs all the help she can from her table mates...

not being funny but (don't you love that phrase :p) what has running into the road at age 7 got to do with it?

you wouldn't use reins at that age and you should have known better at that age.

yes, i should have known better and tbh i have never been so scared ever, but at 7 if i couldnt cross the road properly i imagine that for a toddler, curious to see eveything it would be even easier for them to run into the road full of excitement. I want the peace of mind that Kian wont wriggle away from me and do the same. We live close to the town centre but its a nightmare as the council have decided that 'greenman' crossings are not necessary at all major crossings. (something i will be mentioning the next time they call looking for my vote). Also at the ASDA crossing a few years ago, a man was killed on the morning of his wedding as he ran out in the road. Its a dual carriageway and cars were stopped in one lane but he didnt see the 2nd lane and was hit. This is what i see mums and dads doing with buggies and young children rather than wait fof the greenman or use the underpass. just scares me silly that the same thing could happen Kian. I will use the reins to teach him the 'green cross code' and it is peace of mind for me.

    (thanks fitzio)

Glam its yours, I'll put it in my bag for Tuesday. I'd offer you the follow on sachet too but the spoons they sent have dug into it and ripped the packet.

I've been lurking but Isla's being a grumpy two shoes this evening, she's on my lap feeding and refusing to sleep. It's her first night sleeping in her crib too so could be a long night instore.

Hope to catch up with you all tomorrow x
