  • Can I say something a bit controversial? I don't want to upset anyone but it's peed me off a little....

When I was in Boots asking for painkiller advice there was a young guy in front of me buying formula with 'Healthy Start' vouchers, which is fair enough. However when he'd handed over the tins and cartons the cashier said the value was less than the vouchers and did he want to get something else and he said no! Surely if you need the help of the vouchers then you should make the most of them, but no, cos it's free money it doesn't matter! I'd bloomin' well like an extra £6 odd a week for food while I'm on ML! Sorry, rant over, as you were.....

Tara- I love my Mummy a lot, but things were a bit tough when I was little. My Dad left her for another woman and she ended up in an unhappy marriage so wasn't always very nice to be around. I remember crying and crying because I wanted to stay with my grandparents and not go home with her. I cringe thinking about it now and would be crushed if Henry said that to me.

She rang and had a little moan about not being able to get hold of DD and how much she wanted to visit the hospital. I was literally biting my tongue, mid email to the hospital, Maddy was crying by my feet as I'd had to put her down to hear. She was upset that she could see on FB that DD's friends were visiting but she couldn't get a reply to her texts. I then said that as her friends had been there for her through a very difficult pregnancy they were entitled to visit. She said she knew what I was getting at so I asked 'where were you, and where were you when I needed you?' I had dropped everything for DD, why couldn't she. She said it wasn't that easy as we lived too far away, DD is only half hour. I snapped that she doesn't even visit my bro who is a 20min walk or 5 mins on the bus. And what was the point in visiting Poppie when she wouldn't bother for at least another year, then I told her to leave us alone and hung up! Ooops!!!

GISI, my Mum is awful, every time I give her another chance she chucks it back. She was not a good Mum growing up, she really CBA with us. Then she met her 4th hubby about 12yrs ago. One night they offered me tickets to a dinner and dance for my birthday that they were going to so the 3 of us went. I am not a big drinker and had to work the next morning so didn't have too much but ended up in a right state by midnight. Then he offered me some fresh air and guess what he tried outside. Well anyhow, my Mum knew a couple of days later, she phoned me and asked me to keep my mouth shut or he would leave her and she needed his money. She said she knew he really wanted me and was using her to get close to me (puke) but she was ok with it. Since then he's beaten her, she's had him charged with rape, etc, etc... Each time, he goes back. Whatever, I'm tapping the keys harder and harder!!!!!!

If no-one wants it, I'll have it please :)
