searching_me wrote: »its saying .. £25 per week towards rent and £11 for council tax a week ...
now its weighing up the hassle against the money .. but if philip gets a job with in the time it takes to prosess it (which can take up to 3 months) then as soon as i get it it'll have to be cancelled then a chance of them wanting any overpayment .. oh sod it its not worth it x
So £144 a month. Is that on your current council house??
I'd say its defo worth it!
You said yourself there isn't much work for P, how likely is it he'll be in FT permanent employment soon?
£144 a mth would go a long way to take some of the stress off x ( and think of the Thorntons!)0 -
SS - I tattled cos I think everyone should know what a very thoughtful thing it was :AA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

And also huge thanks to SS and all the other super-kind fairies0 -
I didn't ring the police so i don't think it would make any diff housing wise cos i can't prove it actually happened? Well apart from having a lot less hair than i did this morning, and i blue shiny eye and cheekbone0

This is the mug OH got me!
Sorry to those who've not had a good day.
Big hugs to Beenie. I really, really think you should report him, to help her request to move if nothing else. I am so sorry you are having to go through all this. I'm sorry to say that my OH sees a lot of domestic violence in his job, and very sadly there are too many women who let their OH's back into their houses once too often. I don't mean to scare you, but please do report it.
We've had a really lovely day today. Went out for my Nan's 80th birthday and it was a lovely chance to show off my little boy. Food was a bit pants though, in my opinion, but never mind.
H still has a gunky eye, so I think a trip to the doctor is on the cards tomorrow, poor little thing. He also seems a bit hot and sicky tonight, but It think that is just lack of naps and excitement more than anything.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Tia i didn't know you had my address?
:D Clever fairies, the card is beautiful even DS said so and he doesn't 'do' anything fairy-like :rotfl: Also can't wait for some pampering if Amber ever sleeps. She's being a bit whiney tonight.
I stole your daughter's name and you are still so kind to me :grouphug:0 -
I went to see it on sat. The dining room, kitchen, utility and porch has been an extension and its that are that is full of damp. The rest of the house is just condensation. Going to ask if we can get a damp specialist in to look and quote. And also we need a builder named Dave. Need one of them to get a quote on converting the loft here if we can get rid of J-Jane next door.
AFAIK SS is yet to be confirmed as NOT a builder named Dave. Perhaps SS you could give Tia a quote?
Failing that, Caz has a builder (may or may not be named Dave)0
