I was also "told" this when i was working 16hrs and getting CTC & WTC, so i didn't apply.

Over a year later i did apply, after my mam kept nagging me to, and they paid £190 of my £250 rent. I was fuming, but the wouldn't backdate because my excuse for not claiming earlier was "the office staff verbally said i wouldn't be entitled" and of course, i couldn't prove who had misinformed me.

So unless you've physically filled in a form and applied don't assume you wont get any

Hiya, i've been better Won't bore you all though, cos it's nothing new. All i will say is the ex showed up and i let him in (groan).

I got a lovely present and card in the post btw from some fairies But i don't know who it was!!!!! I couldn't believe it, even the card had a fairy on the front. So it must be someone from here!! Whoever it was thank you so so much xxx
