sm, good to know there's office worker jobs. TBH, once I get my citizenship end of this yr/beginning of next, I'll have tons of avenues open for me as can then work for Civil Service where there's offices all over the country (and shld be easy as I have 2+ yrs experience already at one step above entry level...). DH can work anywhere, but profits are pants outside of London. I'm rambling now anyway!
Sami, I grew up in the country on 10 acres of land, so London is slowly strangling me to death! It was fun for the 1st yr but now I'm sick of it. But is useful for a non-driver.

have a look on your local council website ours comes under LHA and council tax and rent benefits. as i said it may be different for each area but ours tells you the maximum they will pay each week and has a calculation form to fill out and see what you would be entitled to!What's for you won't go past you0

:rotfl: I forgot my mum's flowers ... but I just found a really interesting book on the dining room table and asked about it, it turns out that he forgot to wrap it for me and it's MINE!! It's about <nerd hat on> how psychiatry medicalised normal human sorrow </nerd hat>.
