Ahh, thank-you
sorry for asking such a personal question but I stoopidly thought it was something to do with the building, wally I know! Sounds like a bit of a nightmare.
Tis alright, there's a thread about it many moons ago somewhere! Half the workforce know about it in fact - OH gave up feeling embarrassed/stupid about it in favour of telling everyone about MSE and CCCS and now I can think of at least 20 guys from work who signed up with CCCS to sort themselves out!
I did a big project at work about where to find debt advice after loads of the guys were coming to me to change bank details for their wages "before they were swallowed up by bank charges" or we were getting letters about change of tax status because someone had gone bankrupt etc :cool:0 -

Snap, how come you are on the sofa as well?
I seem to have missed the house talk but I'll join in anyway lol, we have a 3 bedroom semi that we bought in April 09, we were very lucky that that market had crashed actually as this house was worth £150k but because of the crash had been reduced and reduced and reduced to £124k we then managed to get it for £112k with a 10% deposit our mortgage is only £99k
We are in two minds what to do, I love where it is (such a quiet street and close to everything) so the plans are (if we dont overpay on mortage and move)
1. New central heating system (we have an old back boiler system)
2. New Bathroom (I hate our bathroom lol)
3. Two Storey Extension in yard (still leaves parking space for 2 and 1/2 cars) On the ground floor will be a small toilet, then a games/computer room and at the end a little workshop for OH. On the second floor there will be either a fourth bedroom (or we will extend bedrooms 2 and 3 to make them bigger cos they arent massive)
4. Conservatory from the sitting room
5. Extension on kitchen (quite a size already really) and then making it into a seperate kitchen and dining room, currently have the dining table in the kitchen
And thas it lol
OR if we manage to overpay on the mortgage the amount we would save to do all that each month I htink the mortgage would eb paid off in 10 years (Instead of 30) and we would buy a bigger house?

Happy Mother's Day:D
Happy Birthday to benjamin:D
EA - Kai didn't like his sleeping bag until around 2mths old...I used to have to wrap him tightly and put him in his carrycot to sleep sometimes with a rolled up blanket down the sides to make him even more snug! When he was 8wks he outgrew the carrycot so I put him in his sleeping bag into his cot, but still had to wedge him in with blankets.....even now he has his teddies tucked into his sides/back to go to sleep.
Houses! We bought a house in 1999 pre-kids bought it for 39 000 sold it 5yrs later, after having two children and both ending up out of work (grrrrr) and were due to have the house reposessed, for 85 000 paid of the mortgage and debt we had both secured and unsecured and lived the life of riley for a couple of years with the remainder about 25 000. Now renting and have no plans to buy again ever...well maybe if we eventually move abroad, which is what we want to do. Especially once dh finishes his degree (either where he is or back with the OU) as it will prove beneficial to him to move to either Europe or America...I don't care as long as it is sunny:)
Just waiting for dh to get back from dropping his mate off home. His mate who decided to tell us a strange secret tonight....we always thought he was gay/bi-sexual, turns out he is into bdsm.....I don't really know why he felt he needed to tell us but hey we are open minded and just said it is up to him what he does behind closed doors, we don't think any less of him (which is what he was worried about!) Anyway I am tired and now with dh taking ages to drop him off I am guessing I won't be getting brekkie in bed:(

As you all know beany isn't here yet, he is now 6 days late, not massivly late I hear some of you cry, but late nevertheless, i've had stop/start contratctions for 10 days, the most powerful being all day yesterday.
Really thought that was it yesterday, then as soon as we had that stupid argument yesterday they died down and kinda stopped (probably bloody stressed beany out or something stupid)
I once again went to bed at 10pm and was awake by 11.30pm, this time I had stabbing pains in my bump when I lay on my side unless I had the correct size pillow (or quilt) stuffed under bump supporting it.
Been downstairs on sofa watching tv (Are you smarter than a 10 year old) drifting in and out of sleep.
Now I've decided to tackle the ironing that needs doing, no I dont believe I am nesting I am just bored and its a quiet activity to do lol.
But first I go onto facebook and see this post:
J**** O**** just doesn't feel right??? This baby better stay here for a couple more weeks, I ain't ready for it yet!!!!!!!!!!
And my heart sinks, I am bad I knowbut she isnt due till April 12th!!!!!! Tis not fair if her bean comes first (it is her third child, my first so I know they come quicker)
*whinge over*
Ok just so you know cos I know a lot of you dont know me much yet lol I am only 95% serious about being gutted if her baby is on its way, I of course wish her the best and am so excited to have a friend in real life to share this with at the same time.
I am just fed up and can't think of what else to do (dont suppose there is anything to do) and I just want my beany
ps he is fine by the way I think if you are worried about the pains, he has been kicking and wiggling me this morning.
I am having slight contractions, and I mean slight compared to yesterday.
In good news lol, my brother and his wife are going to bring my mam over to see us once she has finished working overtime (3pm), I havent seen her for a couple of weeks, and I used to see her every day.
I really should learn to drive lol
Sorry I am just talking crap now lol, I have only had 90 mins sleep, forgive me lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Morning
Kindof - I know how yo ufeel when someone who's baby is due after you goes early and they get their baby first....obviously you wish them well but at the same time (and out of sight) stamp your feet, crying 'IT'S NOT FAIR'
Can hear dh telling the older two off upstairs...silly boys woke up at 6.20am and have been chatting ever since.....even though they were told twice to keep quiet!
Has anyone got any plans today? we are just going to nip out and visit our mum's and then put a film on later with a take-away.:)
