Boo, I was exactly the same (upset) with my birthday card! During one of our "discussions" following that, I snapped "And I'm his Mummy, not his Mum!"... I now have two "Mummy" Mothers Day cards  (but to be completely honest, I hadn't even thought about that again until you said - I had to look up at my cards to check what they said! :o)

Mel, we too were going to wait until Rhys' birthday (another two months away) to get a toddle truck type thing, but now it's OH nagging that we go get one. Suppose we'd best strike while the iron's hot as it were ;) When I showed OH a pic of the ELC one, he said "Yeah, we could fit B [Rhys' old room buddy] in there, no probs". Hmm, think his mum might have something to say about that! _pale_

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY BENJAMIN & DORA:bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake:

Hope everyone has a lovely day - I need to gut my house & cook dinner :)

I just feel a bit mean that he's obviously put so much thought and effort into what to get me and write in the card and their both lovely. I'm not going to say anything to him, he wouldn't even realise he's got it wrong and it'd probably upset him to think he'd upset me.

I'm going to shut up now and just be happy with my lovely gift and gorgeous little girl. (who is currently trying to suck milk out of her bib but refuses to suck a bottle!)

I truly feel that some men just don't think! OH bought his own Mum a Mummy card and rang her at 10am today to wish her Happy Mother's Day but doesn't see what the fuss is about when I glanced at my unwritten card. He knows his Mum would be mega pi55ed off if she didn't get a phone call and a card but I think OH just doesn't see it as being that important to me.

Fortunately my darling Jack has been giving me the biggest smilies today all of which are much better than a card or pressie. He did give me the stinkiest nappy ever though which actually made me gag!

    Happy Mother's Day everyone!

    Happy birthday Benjamin!

    Happy birthday Dora!

    Happy belated birthday Aimee!

    Happy almost birthday Kai!

    Yay Rhys!

Yay ... I'm so sorry, I can't remember, was it Isla who rolled over? :o

I started this post two hours ago, then put Molly down for a nap and went off to the sofa for grown up time  Molly gave me a book as well as my relatively undisturbed night's sleep - I had about 9 hours with two self-wakings at the times she normally wakes up.

I forgot to send my mother flowers so just used the free next-day Quidco delivery so they'll arrive tomorrow and will call my mother later and ask if the flowers arrived *devilish grin*

His mate who decided to tell us a strange secret tonight....we always thought he was gay/bi-sexual, turns out he is into bdsm

Why would he tell you that? Does he have a partner who'll expect him to be submissive in public and he's testing the waters? I think sexual preferences only need to be discussed when their consequences are public, IYSWIM.

Elle, Caitlyn has one of these that my Mum bought her for christmas... She's not really fussed with it... http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3490916/c_1/1|category_root|Toys+and+games|14417629/c_2/3|cat_15701449|Pre-school+toys|14417737/Trail/searchtext%3EWALKER.htm

One of these that the In Laws bought her for February (they don't do christmas) that she likes to play with... http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3482625/Trail/searchtext%3EVTECH+WALKER.htm

But what she loves to push along and walk with is one of the chairs from Aimee's patio set similar to this... http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6510006/Trail/searchtext%3ECHILD+PATIO.htm (Aimee's are just plain yellow though)

It has the added bonus that it doesn't matter which way she's holding it, it will still push along whereas the walkers have to be pointing the right way lol....
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
