    Last time i rang tax credits they told me that £100 per week of maternity pay doesnt count as income.
    although on entitledto.com it only says maternity allowance. bit confusing really.

    Hi ladies,

    I haven't had chance to read back sorry as I've got the lurgy :( One minute I'm burning up the next I'm freezing and every bone in my body hurts so no baby massage or mummy lunch out for me today.

    I see congratulations are needed for clever standing, walking and rolling babies though :j

    I've just got a netto brochure through and from Monday they have the pampers sensitive wipes in the hard case for £1.

    And Jillie, I saw this on ebay and thought it might be suitable http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110503309622&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
    It came up when I was doing local search, pick up only items. The metrolink runs through to Sale so might be easy to collect?

    PP - I agree with the others, maybe a nursery would be more suitable, worth a try....that is if you can't make it work for you to stay at home;)

    SS - Babymaking:eek::D

    Had a friend round this morning, K is just eating his lunch and then we are off to Asda to get his birthday stuff ready for Monday. Not doing too much, just a little tea party when the older two get home from school. Then after school today it is a quick stop dinner for the kids and off to visit dh's brother, I don't really like going but we are trying to make a bit more effort for his sake. He lives in a kind of nursing home for recovering addicts with mental health problems!!

    Fell out with dh this morning, a kid ran into me for pelt in the playground and because it took me by complete shock I didn't immediately go all smiles and tell the kids 7/8yr old that it was fine, dh called me a stupid cow, apparantly it was my fault for standing in the playground!

    I think a nursery would be too expensive - I would need care for 5.5 hours a day, and think that spills over into being a full days care? So would be £135 a week and I wouldn't be earning as much as that. If the monetary benefits aren't high enough then I'd rather not sacrifice my time with her - it won't be forever after all :)

    That was it Jille, thanks. They don't count the 1st £100. I would do it over the phone SM, let the person work it out so that it's right. Then get their full name and write down date and time. X

    Was thinking of maybe doing Avon for a bit? Not sure though - done it before and they didn;t give me a proper round, so ended up having to do a tax return for a profit of about £14!
