MSE Parents Club Part 11

morning all,

Feeling so much better than i did over the weekend , had MW on sunday , was discharged to HV ,
Thomas now weighing 7lb 13oz so put on 5oz in 5 days , very pleased with him,
HV visited yesterday was ok , now to see her at 6 week check up,
Thomas passed hes hearing screening yesterday , and we have registry office appointment to register him at 12pm today,
Been out for walks everyday since Saturday and i think that's what has made me feel much better than staying in all time .

Oh yeah, and Alfie was 1 month old yesterday. Wow that went quick!

I have" issues" with the whole men babysitting or looking after the kids, thing also. Is that what all us mums do? babysit? Not parent? And they "the men" expect a big :T when they have actually done a bit. I get no :T for being a mum.

hi everyone

thanks for the posts yesterday re night terrors. managed to catch the HV yesterday after i had been to docs and in talking to her with what LO is doing, she thinks it's teething. LO is grinding her teeth during the day (yuk) and she thinks she is probaby doing this at night and it woudl cause her loads of pain.

so early hours she did it again, so i nelson powdered and bonjelled her and she went off after a bottle.

meaning...down at 8pm ish ... wake 2am ish ...bottle....sleep until 7.00 am WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the best night i've had with her really.

not counting my chicken.
