Morning. My poor little car isn't sounding too healthy

I've got such bad road rage lately. I seem to get stuck behind all the people who are just out for a relaxing morning drive. Like OMG hurry the heck up it's rush hour  I beeped at some bint yesterday cos she was sat like a lemon for absolutely ages and holding the traffic up on both sides of the narrow road. She was either giving way to a car about half a mile away or was too scared to drive through the lorry sized gap.

    Morning,

I'm up and ready for the meet but Isla's still a bit stuffy nosed :o She seems happy and smiley so I think we're still going but Im not sure if I'll feel like a bad mummy if later on she seems any worse or an over protective mummy if I stay home. Oh, why's it so hard to make decisions?!

SS - shoe's don't really count as clothes, their an accessory (sp) :) Handbags come under the same ruling so shop away!

Krystal - hope the headache goes and your day gets better x

Becles - the HM sounds like a nightmare! As csh says, parents evening should be about his work in class, timekeeping etc not facebook.

Caz - hope nursery goes ok today :)

I've forgotten everything else! I'm sure they removed my memory when I pushed Isla out!

    Good luck at nursery Charlie.

Hugs for Aimee Krystal. Hope the worst is over and she doesn't share it with the family.

My little princess who has slept all night forever, decided to wake at midnight last night and attempt to climb out of the cot, climb all over daddys head, slap daddys head and give daddy big wet kisses. So I took her downstairs to sleep and we finally went off at 3. :naughty:

But, i'm still organised this morning, and i'm off to Manchester to see some lovely babies and lovely Mummys.

Anyone found a decent remedy for colic?

Alex, the most peaceful, placid baby I have ever seen has taken to turning into a demon child in the evening.

He had infacol last night, but I am not sure it helped- we will carry on for a few days though :)

fitzio wrote everything I was going to! Infacol definitely takes a good 5 days to get working and you'll need to use it at every feed (well, the 6 it says on the bottle). Those 5 days are a killer cos you think it's not working but trust me it will!

Jack didn't have colic but he had really bad wind - I used Infacol, did baby massage and I changed his milk to the Aptamil Comfort (can remember if you are FF or BF). THe change of milk stopped him grunting in his sleep which was obviously trapped wind.

Jack wasn't up too much last night but woke at 6.20am, rought him in our bed and Daddy had cuddles before he got up - Jack sneezed all over him! :rotfl:Seemed to clear his nose of all the nightime nasties so not too snuffly.

Boo - Jack is a it snuffly. I find the fresh air does help. Well Done you on being ready! I've put a load of washing on and given J his bottle (he didn't get back up until 8.30am) Still need to do breakfast for us both, get showered and dressed and try to leave on time! :rotfl:

Off to PM Sarah my number although I'm not sure she will be on before she leaves.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I don't know what the "or else" is exactly. It's got James worried sick though as he has an overactive imagination, and was imagining me being sent to prison for letting him on it. I've told him not to be so daft, but in a nicer way that that!

I have to apply for a place for Charlotte at the school in September so I don't want to kick up too much of a stink in case they say she can't go to the school.

The school have little to do with who gets in these days, is it a church school? will one of the boys still be at the school when you apply/she starts? if she has a sibling in the school she's a shoe in anyway :)

Does the HM have children do you know? Did I tell you about FBgate at mum's school? there was a big hoo har and the HM talked to all the y6 kids telling them how FB was only supposed to be for 13yrs+ , you shouldn't 'friend' teachers blah blah. he told staff they shouldn't be friends with any parents (quite silly when some of the staff are also parents of pupils :p) Anyhoo he was generally appalled that children used FB and was very surprised to find out a few days later that his own 10yo son had a profile - he'd created it while using the internet unsupervised :p egg on his face much!

I hate the Tweenies. I watched it once when I was too ill to do anything else and that was enough for me.

I think my allegedly arsonist tendencies lead people to believe that I run about in one of those fireproof stunt suits :rotfl:

I've not seen the Tweenies but am fully prepared to hate all children's TV. We have some DVDs of kids' programmes from when we were kids, which we think are obviously superior :rotfl:
