Pigpen, but on the flip side, you can kick your OH out the bed to go and do the midnight feed, whilst you snooze for longer.

    You'd think anyway...

Don't be daft!! By the time you've got their lazy backsides out of bed you are wide awake and baby is too hungry to feed so you just may as well do it yourself!

MFD - am fascinated with sign langauage how did you learn it? My younger brother is mostly deaf but grew up being able to hear so he can lip read, but I always thought BSL would be better than learning a foreign langauage.

I took an evening course 16 years ago :o I did 2 years of 1 night a week. I am by no means an expert!!! I only went because my mum really wanted to do it and she wanted me to keep her company!

My baby is making massive, loud farty noises by blowing his mouth on my leather sofa :rotfl::rotfl:

The one time I managed to get him up with DS1, I woke up to DS1 whimpering, DH sleeping and the bottle lying on the bed.

I've actually gotten up with DS2 a few times, took him up to A&E/doc on call, then up to the hospital and called him in the morning and he has had no idea I wasn't still in bed. The few times I have yelled for him to bring sheets through when DS2 has been sick, he has wandered through and been utterly comically useless.

SO I gave up. But I do get to demand long lies more often than him.

Didn't read back on this thread and see that the smoking/ BF thing was a big deal! Ooops! I just thought beenie was saying she felt bad.

We def don't need another BF/FF debate we all know the for's and against's and it was our choice how to feed our babies.

At the same time I welcome information about any topic (even if I disagree/ didn't do it) and if you don't then don't click the link. Don't feel like you can't post on here any more feelie, we all have different opinions and I don't agree with a lot of stuff I read, but I don't let it bother me. I am comfortable with my parenting decisions so what others think doesn't really effect me or my DD.
