Hi Weezl, lovely to hear from you, what a lovely pic of fergie, such a handsome boy!
Someone mistook El for a boy in Asda this morning, (yes she has a blue coat but it has a pattern of daffodils all over it) how very dare they!
Feely appears to have de-friended me on FB, anyone else?MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
CSH hello lovely
Grrrrrr at your work. Surely if they can offer you that for 3 months then there's a precedent for it being possible longer term?
The PT contract no longer exisits, however, it reads to me like they want to hide me in the system as PT by appearing to be FT. Which is all very well and good but with nothing in writing if anything goes tits up.......
Never mind, it'll sort itself I'm sure!0 -

At his 6 month check, my HV said I should register Alex even though he has no teeth.
Whilst there today I asked my dentist about it and he kind of sighed and rolled his eyes.
He said that HV were saying that, as in this area, there were lots of children that didn't go to a dentist or have their teeth brushed once a week, let alone once a day .
(Nice place Wigan!). Plus having no flouride in the water, makes it worse. So they were pushing for people to register them early in the hopes that parents will actually take them to the dentist. But as I am a responsible parent he will see Alex sometime after he is one. And if he does get any teeth before that, to use adult toothpaste. But I think I will just take Alex along with Joe and I to our next check up, so he can have a nosey and get used to it.
when i went the dentist i mentioned it and he said register her next time i come and each time i go he will pop her on the chair and show her everything just so she gets used to it and feels at ease, he said there wont be much to check for tho its just getting her used to the surroundings so its not to scary.
i'm 25 and still scared :eek::rotfl:
my HV also mentioned using adult toothpaste rather than childrens, not enough of something or other in the childrens, will listen harder next time0 -
Mel! Hellohow are you managing with 3 and a big bump?
Is kai walking or are you having to do masses of lifting?
How do you feel about number 4 coming, are you ready?
Sorry to bombard you!

I'm managing better than I expected actually. Kai can walk, when he chooses to:cool: Still plenty of carry's needed though:) Not sure if I am ready for number 4 or not, but just really relaxed about it all atm...still 9 wks to go yet. The main thing playing on my mind is sleeping arrangements....I think about it every day and then set my mind firmly on what I am doing, by the next day I have come over all undecided again:o
Mel xUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
I've got a problem with that, my DD1 hates most toothpaste, I wish I'd used adult toothpaste on her from the off because the strawberry one is no good for her big teethMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

I'm much older and very hard. Not bothered in slightest by dentist or the needles.
Not enough Flouride, plus there are sweetners in childrens toothpastes. Took me ages to get Joe off fruity kids toothpastes. Complained mine was too minty. He now happily uses Childrens Sensodyne, and the dentist said that was fine.0 -
